Do they even mention nanomachines other than in passing in MGR? Been awhile since I played through it. Although the "Nanomachines Son" almost seems synonymous with making fun of that lazy writing crutch.

There were other things...I can't recall.

I have to revisit the game sometime I know that much.

I really should put another run into it. I still remember how ****ing awesome it was when I first played it. It was one of the few games that got my girl interested in it. She loves the OST for it, especially the Armstrong boss battle theme. She loves that fight.

So my wife wanted a PS3 for her birthday + all the GOW games. Win/win for me. :lol

The Last of Us - 10/10

Still need to pick up: Journey the collector's edition with Flow and Flower, Uncharted 2, the Killzone collection, Beyond: Two Souls and Resistance 1 and 2. And maybe Ico and Shadow of the Colossus collection if I can ever find it. Any other PS3 exclusives I should check out?

Its no exclusive but if you haven't played it, red dead redemption is a masterpiece

Witcher 2
7/10
Its basically Fable hack n slash with much better cut scenes.
Interesting story but doesnt have much replay value. Tiny maps and very linear progression, its not that much of a bad thing as its how games used to be like before open world happened. Glad i played it but wont return to it, i would try the next in the series though.

Some games I'd recommend: the first Infamous, Little Big Planet, Zone of the Enders HD Collection, and the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection. With the MGS Legacy Collection, you'll have the HD releases for MGS 2 and 3 as well as a voucher code for MGS 1. It also comes with a copy of MGS 4, which is a PS3 exclusive.

I'd recommend Sly Cooper Thieves in Time and the Ratchet and Clank series

Never got into any MGS games TBH. I tried playing the PS versions along with ZOTE when my brother had them. Didn't like them. :lol

I've heard a lot of good things about Little Big Planet, Infamous 1 and both series FSLAR mentioned. I'll have to check those out. Thanks for the info guys!

Yeah I have it on Xbox 360 (GOTY Edition). Agreed, great game.

I've got to agree with FSLAR on Ratchet and Clank, I moved, recently, and decided to get back into my PS3 library again, and they still hold up amazingly well. The original R&C is a classic, so much so that it's actually been remade (holy ****, that time ****ing flew by), and it keeps getting better from there. If you can find the R&C collection, it's the original trilogy and it's a blast. PS3 also had its own games in Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, A Crack in Time, and All 4 One. I think the only ones not on PS3 are the aforementioned PS4 remake and the two PSP games, Size Matters, and Secret Agent Clank.

There is Deadlocked on PS2, but I think that was digital only on PS3 unlike the rest of the PS2 trilogy. There is All 4 One, a co-op game and Full Frontal Assault, Tower Defense, both of which are ok but kinda forgetable. Into the Nexus is fine and includes a digital code for Quest for Booty though I think it actually expires this year so beware. The PSP games are on PS2 as well but that's another story.

Holy ****, just goes to show how long that series went on for. I forgot to mention Deadlocked, but I don't even think I knew about Full Frontal Assault, and I believe A Crack in Time was the last one I played. I actually have to pick up A Crack in Time and Into the Nexus, then. I just finished getting my platinum in the original R&C and I'm pretty close with Going Commando (just need to get like 10,000,000 ****ing bolts to buy all the "Megaweapons," armor, and, I think, the Zodiac.:lol

I bought Quest for Booty years ago, so, I think I just have to redownload it. I'm actually kind of curious where they're going to go from this new one; if they're going to do remakes of GC and Up Your Arsenal, or if they'll spin it into its own continuity.

I played the original Racthet & Clank in 2003, didn't beat it but LOVED it, I played a bit of Quest for Booty and loved that too. There's a charm in those games that I just want to find time to beat them all someday.

Yeah, I'm probably showing my age here, but R&C was the first video game I ever owned, my grandparents lived a street away and had an NES, a Genesis, and an N64, so, there wasn't a real sense of urgency to get me my own game system. Suffice it to say, my first console was a PS2, and I just have a lot of great memories with the series.

I actually didn't beat it until I got the collection for the PS3. I remember not having a memory card, so, my dad and I would always race against the clock to see how far we could get in a day. I think the furthest we got was Pokitaru.:lol

Ryan, you're missing out! R&C is a great series, probably the closest Sony will get to a Mario. Actually now that I think about it...you should fix your problem of just playing games and never finishing them :lol especially all these good ones! All that time wasted...on what? The MGS V Platinum? :monkey3

What man doesn't love the quest for booty?

LittleBigPlanet 3 / 7.5/10

Way too short and buggy, but fun and imaginative.

P.T.. I mean Resident Evil 7: The Beginning Hour.

While not exactly what fans asked for, it still drips in atmosphere and at least is trying. Maybe trying too hard, but still trying. :lol

7/10.
