I fully understand it plays well, according to everyone, I just can't in good conscious ever play it beyond the demo.
Skip the cutscenes, do yourself an honest to god favor. Not all of it is bad (I expected so much worse) but the gameplay is the only saving grace. The music is fine, but DMC 3 still kicks it to the curb

The Definitive Edition fixed a lot of gameplay flaws from what I saw but it's your call.

I remember there was a fanboy war between that DMC reboot and Metal Gear Rising. Played the DMC demo on PS3 way back, knew what camp I was in straight away.

So my wife wanted a PS3 for her birthday + all the GOW games. Win/win for me. :lol

The Last of Us - 10/10
Heavy Rain - 9/10
God of War III - 10/10
God of War Ascension - 10/10
God of War Collection | GOW & GOW II - 10/10
God of War Ghost of Sparta - 8/10
God of War Chains of Olympus - 6/10
Uncharted - 5/10
Uncharted 3 - 10/10
Resistance 3 - 8/10
Heavenly Sword - Van Down by the River/10
Infamous 2 - 5/10

Still need to pick up: Journey the collector's edition with Flow and Flower, Uncharted 2, the Killzone collection, Beyond: Two Souls and Resistance 1 and 2. And maybe Ico and Shadow of the Colossus collection if I can ever find it. Any other PS3 exclusives I should check out?

That's a pretty good list!

Some games I'd recommend: the first Infamous, Little Big Planet, Zone of the Enders HD Collection, and the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection. With the MGS Legacy Collection, you'll have the HD releases for MGS 2 and 3 as well as a voucher code for MGS 1. It also comes with a copy of MGS 4, which is a PS3 exclusive.

I'd recommend the same games Solidus did, along with Sly Cooper Thieves in Time (assuming you played the original games) and the Ratchet and Clank series

Oh and on my commute/work...

Resident Evil: Revelations (3DS) - 7.5/10. Really dragged at times, and plot was too all over the place for me to care. But it had some very nice atmosphere.

Oh yeah, definitely the Sly Cooper games and Ratchet and Clank. I also forgot to mention the Jak and Daxter HD Collection (which I still have yet to pick up :slap).

pretty much. Jak and Daxter HD Collection is near flawless, and has some really easy platinums. You do need to abuse glitches for a few trophies though, due to oversights.

DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition - 7.5/10.

Take out that laughable story and strange edge, and it's an all right game.
Incidentally, I recently scored a prsitine complete copy of R.E Code Veronica X on eBay for a great price, & it includes the demo disc & booklet for the first DMC game.

Other than reading somewhere that it was a wip with the intention of eventually becoming another R.E title (no?), I know nothing about it.

I know.. Youtube is a wonderful thing. Call me lazy I guess. :lol

The fanboys probably still hate it for pointing out everything wrong with the series :lol
