So after talking with some of you yesterday, is there a possibility that they won't issue a replacement and just issue a refund (due to lack of availability)? If that's the case, I'm out of a Red Skull EX. What are the chances of something like that happening? I've honestly never had this much trouble with a piece from Sideshow before.

Did you get your direct from SS?

No, much more of a pain to do that. Just ask for a new cane and cross. They'll look after you. DO IT CHRIS! Dammit! Call Sideshow's replacements department and ask for those two items. They'll happily replace those items. Cheaper for them, and less of a headache on both parties' parts. Also, if you have the entire thing replaced you could potentially get a replacement that comes in worse shape. That's what I would recommend anyway.

Yeah, I got it from Sideshow directly, but I've never had to ask for a replacement before. That's why I'm so lost. I could live with the cane, but without the cross? That's what pushed me over the edge. I think I'm going to call them to see what my options are. I'll keep everyone updated. In the meantime, everyone please chime in on what you would do.

OK guys....Here's the scoop, just got done talking with Sideshow (well two of their reps. anyway) and they both said send him back. They went through the whole replacement process and said since they haven't had too many returns on Red Skull so finding a replacement won't be a problem. And I can keep sending the piece back until I get one that I'm happy with. So with that said, my Red Skull Ex. is going back to Cali! The only thing I didn't ask was how long the whole process takes? Anyone have an idea?

7-10 business days when they receive the item.

Also, where are you located if you don't mind asking because I am in Canada, they would have just had me replace those things that were wrong with it.

Southeast U.S. Like you were saying earlier though, I was worried about the condition of the replacement, etc. etc. But they said, don't worry. They always hold quite a few off to the side (Even EX versions) and they'll destroy the one I send them. Then she said that the bases of the "replacements" are blank so someone will paint in the corresponding number (taken from the original), box it back up, and off it goes. So we'll see. I'm a bit worried but honestly, I figure its worth the shot. Worst case scenario if the replacement isn't mint, they said I can send it back fro another or get a refund and save myself a few bucks. Even though, I think this piece is AWESOME, I've got a Thor EX. on the way to ease the pain. (Which I hope will be mint. *knocks on wood.*) :banghead

hey guys mines is missing 1 button and the cigarette,I just spoke to sideshow and they said the only thing they can replace is the cigarette and
that they dont have any buttons.

this is for anyone who has a similar problem(hope this helps)
