i'm definitely holding on to mine, right along with the exclusive cap pf and the exclusive vs. diorama. the diorama keeps going up and once the movie hits t'll be very, very hard to come by. besides, i couldn't keep the cap withou rs or the diorama without the PFs... they just go together too well.

Yeah it's almost like you have a connective bridge there with all three pieces, when does the movie hit I'm remembering something like 2010, am I wrong?

So I received a damaged one. (Pictures of the damage are on page 41 of this thread.) Anyways I finally heard back form Sideshow today and they said that they cannot replace it because they dont have any available. They offered me a $50 refund to keep the damaged one. I will probably take this offer. Does this sound like a good compromise to you? The damage does not bother me that much but it is some what bothersome. Also I am really mad at myself right now because I had the piece that chipped off the but lost it. I probably could have glued back on and it would have looked alright.

So it looks like I filed for my Ex. replacement just in time! I just sent my back a few weeks ago. I remember talking with them and they said they didn't forsee replacement fullfillments being an issue with this piece at all. Guess times have changed.

I agree.... I've been curious about picking up a Cap America PF. But I feel that if I get Cap, I'll HAVE to get Red Skull!!!! And at this point, gettin both in the ex version will be expensive!

You NEED the Capt. EX. Well worth it. I was blown away when I got mine!

Whoa, did I have a scare....first, I didn't realize his cane fell out of the styrofoam when I opened it, so I thought it was missing, then, I didn't see the cigarette anywhere, until I realized it was hiding under a silicate packette.

I was planning on selling it, but after inspecting it.....I don't know now. Looks too much like a keeper.

Honestly...the reg. Red Skull looks better IMO. The "cube" is kinda cheesy looking. However !.....Captain America EX is the way to go. 1 of the best PF's out there.

Thats not a concern for me, and I don't sell on ebay And whose to say I was going to sell it right away...

Man, it's like that feeling when you think you're about to be pulled over for a ticket. It was worse with this inspection after reading that SS is out of replacement pieces.

i can't wait to get mine, my brother-in-law picked mine up for me in calgary, though i don't know when i'll be down there next to pick it up. funny, i asked him to open it up to make sure there was no damage.
well now he owns one. he couldn't get back to the store quick enough to pick one up for himself.

I don't know how other companies can have no issues yet it seems nearly all statues I get from Sideshow need to go back due to various breaks or defects.
