Super Freak
But I will press on, and apply for a third time next year.
Sorry gang, but as a few of you know, I've been back in school for the past two years attempting to get into a very limited program. The Radiation Therapy program here only accepts 10 students per year. Two years ago there were 18 applicants, last year was 28 applicants, and this year a whopping 37.
But, by rights, I should be in this program already. I have a 4.0 in all of my prerequisites, and the highest grade in my Physics course and both of my Biology prerequisites as well.
Just kind of ticked off tonight, because I was not even expecting the letter until next week. I listened to a coworker when they told me there was no mail today, but checked anyway just now as I was walking my dogs. Dammit!
Just needed to vent a bit, as I'm home alone and kind of peeved.
The only consolation is that if I got in this year, I would finish in December of 2013, but if I get in next year I will be completed only five months later. So, at least there is that. The flip side is I'm going to have to take the TEAS exam and volunteer 25 hours. Which is all okay, because I have a year to do those two things anyway...
Sorry again, just venting...
Dammit!
