It's just so far gone from the original formula, I just honestly don't give a **** about it anymore...

It's pretty said since I was a Resident Evil maniac in the 90's.

I loved the creepy solitary aspect of the first two games, and in the third you got to explore more of the city and you were always worried about Nemesis dropping in on you.

Code Veronica is very underappreciated. The story makes a great conclusion to the story of Umbrella. But their written off in 2 minutes of prologue in RE4?

CV was the only sequel from the Raccoon trilogy that actually feels like it's part of the same universe.

Wesker's pathetic death by Chris and SHEVA WHO HAD NO BUSINESS FINISHING WESKER has truly tainted the series for me. That, and on top of the awfulness that RE5 was.

I really miss all the great ambient soundtracks from the first three games...

During the Jill fight battle should've killed Sheva, We all know Sheva is just a token character placed in the game because of the racists comments RE5 was getting.

That's how I feel, I'll play it but I'm not hyped like a lot of people. I don't want be disappointed like I was with RE4-RE5. Plus, maybe it has to with none of my favorite characters are in the game; Claire or Jill.

Jill used to be my favorite for a long time until RE5 slit the throat on that...

I really liked Leon from the very beginning. I know it's a newbie hack thing to say, but RE4 made me like him more.

I don't mind RE4 that much, it's a different flavor of RE but it's made with the same ingredients. It's probably the best of the newer generation games but of course pales to the PSX's.
RE5... is just a bad... bad game.

That's how I've been feeling with the game recently. Hopefully I won't regret paying $60.00 for something I can wait to purchase later.

I'm going to get the Anthology edition just so I can download the games and not have to boot up my Wii to play the original trilogy, and I want to play the RE 4 HD edition since I got a HD TV now.

Sucks you won't be able to get that infinite ammo cheat on the PSN RE2 like you could on the GC version.

I actually thought Jill was awesome in RE5. She was one of the few things I can say I still like about that game, to be honest. Although, I'm a huge Jill fan and I was just glad she wasn't killed off, like we initially thought. xD

I would rather fight nothing but Zombies the entire game with nothing outside of that and I would enjoy it more.

Thats exactly opposite to what the rest of the casual game buying public wants though. Come RE3 people were dropping off because all the games were practically the same thing. Then they juice it up with new enemies and mechanics and the games are breaking record sales. And the old school re fans are crying.

You wont find a guy who enjoys running through ps1 racoon city more than i do. But i refuse to be one of the guys who doesnt accept change and whinge about anything and everything new.

Well, there is a 5 parter on the umbrella Chronicles that deals with the fall of umbrella. 3 Chris & Jill missions and 2 Wesker ones.

And theyre lame on the rails first person shooters with terrible stories.

I mean come on, since when did Robocop becomea tyrant!? TALOS was such a big frickin fail, those games are an embarrassment.

But at least they had Crimson heads, which shouldve been the direction RE went.

Manufacture the T-virus to skip straight to the V-ACT stage, rapidly creating hordes of blindingly fast, vicious, blood hungary Crimson heads as opposed to slow zombies. Still have some slower ones, but a majority be the fast crimson heads. Sure throw all the ammo you like! Still, only decapitation or cremation can kill the fuggers. Imagine RE4 where they are all crimson heads and your in a city; Youve got your stupid pointless handgun and all you can do is run, shoot legs to stop Crimsons being mobile, and barricade yourself in houses and try to navigate rooftops.

Well it was racist. I mean come dont you see!? White man in Africa killing lots of black Africans. I mean, whats a black person doing in Africa? Ofcourse it shouldve been changed so we had white people and chinese people to kill. Thats the population of there, not Black people.

Ofcourse, its racist in america that we only had white zombies to kill. Im pretty sure if we played as marvin braughn in RE2 slaughtering those defenceless white zombies, it would be classed as racist.
