It came out for 360 owners only two months ago. The one today is for the PS3 owners getting it late.

I just read that the PS3 RE6 demo is available for download for those with the Dragon's Dogma codes. It may not be in the catalog, but if you use the search function in PSN it should show up.

Soooo. I played in order Leon, Chris & Jake

Leons Demo is really bad. It is so slow paced. And they keep adding and removing what you can do. Be it run or not. Physical attack or not or sprint or dodge all throughout the demo.

Chris's Demo on the other hand is frigging awesome. Its not as hectic as it looks in videos and the han to hand combat is actually really fun and easy to do.

Jake's story ( i played as Sherry ) is pretty much as it looks. But its also really fun.

Leon biggg disappointment.

Lol I have been so out of the loop on this release. I find it underwhelming, the story and lack of survival horror just sucks anymore.

It's just so far gone from the original formula, I just honestly don't give a **** about it anymore...

It's pretty said since I was a Resident Evil maniac in the 90's.

I loved the creepy solitary aspect of the first two games, and in the third you got to explore more of the city and you were always worried about Nemesis dropping in on you.

Code Veronica is very underappreciated. The story makes a great conclusion to the story of Umbrella. But their written off in 2 minutes of prologue in RE4?

CV was the only sequel from the Raccoon trilogy that actually feels like it's part of the same universe.

Wesker's pathetic death by Chris and SHEVA WHO HAD NO BUSINESS FINISHING WESKER has truly tainted the series for me. That, and on top of the awfulness that RE5 was.

I really miss all the great ambient soundtracks from the first three games...

After playing the demos im more hyped for Jake than anything. I was always hyped for Chris. Not hyped for Leon at all though and he is the longest, and the one you are meant to play first. But im sure i will love the game.

I like how the guns, even the pistols seem a lot more powerful or the baddies react to it more. Unless the demo is using powered up versions of the pistols.

Well, there is a 5 parter on the umbrella Chronicles that deals with the fall of umbrella. 3 Chris & Jill missions and 2 Wesker ones.

The whole Big Boss thing? Your entitled to your opinion, but I think the series has completely lost it's way of thinking with MGS4 and has completely degenerated into this mind numbing story with Big Boss.

Snake Eater is a masterpiece, but it's become the complete basis of the rest of the sequel/prequels and when you think about it, in and of itself it has no bearing on the rest of the series. Everything involved in it was resolved within the game.

Maybe this should be moved to the MGS threads lol.

Id of liked the scenarios to be longer like Memories of a lost city * Game of oblivion though. Id of loved a RE0 long rail shooter play through. I wanted to explore a lot more of the UTF

That's how I feel, I'll play it but I'm not hyped like a lot of people. I don't want be disappointed like I was with RE4-RE5. Plus, maybe it has to with none of my favorite characters are in the game; Claire or Jill.

That's how I've been feeling with the game recently. Hopefully I won't regret paying $60.00 for something I can wait to purchase later.
