FYI, I didn't pay for it. It's been sitting on kitchen counter since Tuesday morning...

Enemy variety does suffer, BUT I dont think there would be dogs or any animals that the mould would afflict.
Evelyn wanted a family, so thats why it only affected humans. Some died and were food for the Bakers, some turned into her moulded family

I thought we would get 'runner' like infected.
Like when Alan just turned he would get up and run at you. It wouldve been a desperately needed pace change of enemy. Moulded were too slow. Too predictable. The crawling ones were too easy. The fat moulded were a chore. They lost their charm and fear factor very quick.

I understand not having alot of variety. Its not like its a laboratory full of experiments but there did need to be more.

Oh, anybody else experience moulded randomly dissolving and never coming back?

I don't think the third person is killing it per say. But people are right, especially those who have been playing all the titles since day one, that something is just not gelling together to make it a real RE title. And even that is up to debate given how diverse the fan base is now with all the games, movies and dvd titles to sink your teeth into.

I just hope this sells well enough to warrant an eighth instalment with Chris and Jill back for one last hurrah before they inevitably had it off for a younger cast change.

I agree narratively it does make sense once you get to the tail end and all the secrets start spilling out, but at the time it can be a tad frustrating that there is little to no variety when compared to the last six main numbered titles.

Hey now lots of families have pets. It wouldn't be much of a stretch for little girl to want a Mr. Fluffy, which would result in a few moldy dogs or cats...maybe even a gold fish :lol

Bakers had a dog didnt they? It was shown in Lucas' puzzle room. Probably died. Thing is, the little girl is a hallucination. Evelyn in the wheelchair couldnt exactly go walkies with it lol!

DLC is out on January 31st. Also tape 2 is out Feb 14th.

Bit soon seeing as the free stuff is what, May?

Regarding the ending.Just finished it and........

That was Chris Redfield who rescues Ethan on an Umbrella logo helicopter ?! WTF happened there ? He is working for the enemy now ?

I assume it's a "good" Umbrella for cleaning up Biohazards. The logo was like a blue violet and not red.

I wonder if they will bring out a gold edition like they did for 5 and 6 with everything packaged together on disk ?

This is Capcom, you can bet mpney they will. I mean...they're still releasing versions of RE4 :lol

There's a couple theories out there. One is that it's hunk. Another is that the logo looks like the Umbrella Corps logo so its people from that game...they're gear does look similar...I'm hoping we'll have iur answer with that "not a hero" dlc.

lmao are you serious snake

there is no good umbrella -_- it's not chris redfield
It's his name in the credits so... IDK. Sure doesn't look like him.

I thought it could be Hunk too. He's never been shown before aside from the one cutscene and it's not even a clear shot. With the "Albert" gun and his voice in Umbrella Corps... I'm pretty much certain Wesker isn't dead. He either survived, or we fought a Punished Snake decoy :lol
