I recommended it since part of the original series but it has questionable gameplay mechanics that don't make any sense. It's still better than Zero in terms of story. I've always found CV overrated and its magnum side quest is a pain in the balls.

CV is easily broken by the player too. If you don't know what you're doing, you can royal **** yourself in Chris's section since you left stuff either on Rockford with Claire or have her with weapons aside from the rifle when you fight Nosferatu.

Yeah that can really suck. I could easily see newbies messing up badly, and it wouldn't really be their fault. The only thing it did to prevent this was leaving the knife in same room with Claire, though most people miss it which is admittedly their own fault for being that ignorant. You can miss a lot of stuff too, not required but a lot of it is going so out of your way. But I don't think the developers really accommodated the original RE design with how Code Veronica is, that's my main issue like the ranking system not built around the longer campaign and higher difficulty, some item management at times...

Should run fairly well even on weak computers.

It's on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC....and yeah, weak computers can run it, not that well but better than nothing.

They haven't made a phyiscal PAL release for PS3 though, have they?

They made Japan only physical release for REmake Remaster, both games got a dual release in Origins Collection for PS4 and XB1 for all areas

I'm not going current gen for a LONG time to come, so yeah.

There's already an existing wealth of gaming treasures for me to source & enjoy.

If you import the game you won't have to worry about language. It'll be English the whole way through.

The only thing of note is that there may be Japanese subtitles, but still speak English
