It's called the "PG Era" now, which in itself is terrible. Cena is front and center and he's completely uninteresting, even having the same damn theme for almost a decade. Blech.

I liked watching wrestling when I was a kid, but now that I'm older it's just unbearable to watch. UFC is 100x better, it's real fighters who don't waste time with horrible acting while doing stunts.

That's because UFC is about real fighting, that's the point. Pro-Wrestling is Entertainment, essentially a soap opera/story with physicality. I watch it every now and then, but it's not as good as it was during the Attitude era or the Golden era.

Don't kid yourselves. Herb Dean couldn't call a clean match if his life depended on it. :lol

^^I should clarify, I'm not a regular viewer or huge fan of UFC. I've just watched bits and pieces of fights while my dad watches them. So I have no clue who you are talking about. I just know that what I have seen on UFC is miles better than what I've seen in theatrical wrestling. lol

WWE is better now than it was a few years ago. Punk, Bryan, Ziggler, Cody Rhodes all being in the spotlight, As opposed to the post-ruthless aggression era which was basically when the attitude era guys were dropping off and they hired big-untalented guys to try and quickly fill the spot. At least now we have lost the old and have a future to look at.

And the UFC vs WWE argument is like chalk and cheese. Which is the better company? WWE hands down. By ALOT. The money talks for itself... and so does UFC having to cancel their latest PPV event because their champion John Jones refused to fight Chael Sonnen because he didnt have time to train for his style and would likely lose (despite Sonnen also not even had of trained at all given he was a last minute fill in). Would you ever find out a wrestler didnt turn into work because he found out he was booked to lose his title? If he did that he would lose his job. John Jones did it but he is keeping his job because UFC cannot afford to loose any stars as it doesnt have as many big names as it also once had years ago. Cards are already stretched extremely thin these days. The only good product UFC puts out is the ultimate fighter TV series.

And all though UFC fights may be real the exact same selective pick and choose goes on behind the scenes of which fighters get on the card and get in the title picture due to popularity and what they think people will pay to see.

As for the Power Rangers part of the conversation, I'll just leave this here:

Nope, and the WWE Superstars would even fight through severe injuries like torn quads and pectoral muscles in matches well longer than 3 5-minute rounds.

There weren't that many initial Power Rangers (Zyurangers) though.

One team would have to be these guys (Dairangers):

Still think they're a ripoff of Dynamen.

Isn't tommy from power rangers a UFC fighter ?
No, but hes trained with UFC fighters from what I've read.
Yes, well not UFC. But other MMA promotions. Tommy (Jason David Frank) Has several fights you can find on youtube. He won them all by TKO or submission. And looks like a boss while doing so.

Jason David Frank also offered Austin St John (jason, red ranger) a MMA fight because the 2 didnt get along on set but ASJ has ignored the offer every time it has came up.

Of course he will never make a full career out of it given he is too old now, has 9 schools i believe to look after and a clothing line.

Its nice seeing a childhood hero can still kick ass in real life though so many years later.

Wrestling, Power Rangers, Resident Evil.......someone should rename this thread "Worst things ever put on television". :lol

Prometheus hasnt even made it to DVD and Blu-ray yet, give it time to hit tv!

Then just no.

Many people look great until they fight high level competition. I respect the man, hes living the dream and hes man enough to step up, but hes not a UFC fighter.

You replied no. You think he has trained with MMA fighters. If you know JDF had been in other MMA promotions you'd of informed him as i did. UFC or not. You knew what he meant. UFC = MMA to some people.

Wrestling > nfl, nba, mma

:lecture

OMG wrestling is so fake. *goes and pays $30 to watch The Dark Knight Rises in Imax* :slap
