Never seen Twilight and honestly I have no desire to. That ish just seems really gay. But I guarantee Predators will not make half of what Twilight made at the box office.

Not really. The Matrix was rated R and it made over 400 million worldwide. The sequel (also rated R) made over 700 million. Same with films like Terminator 2, Gladiator, 300, etc. Hell the first Predator was rated R and made over 98 million (only cost 18 million to make + add in inflation).

So an R rated movie can make money. As long as it doesn't suck.

but then again, so does Robert's name

The guy whos most successful movie to date is Spy Kids.

Kind of.

1. It got a lower "approval" rating from critics than Spy Kids (87% as opposed to 93%).

2. It didn't perform as well as expected at the box office: Opened at #1 then fell the ____ off by the second week and overall it only made like 70 million domestically.
Spy Kids made over 100 million domestically.

3. RR didn't receive sole credit. Frank Miller and Quintin Tarentino got just as much recognition.

So ultimately.. Spy Kids is RR's most successful movie to date.

When i went to see toy story 3 today alot of people were studying the poster and trying to make out if this was a tie in to alien or whatever. It seems like people are curious, they really need to release a new trailer with more info on the movie.

Spy Kids was awesome. Dont knock it.

2 was entertaining, but 3 is terrible. RR keeps letting his kids write the kidflicks he does now. Hence why they suck.

And no, they dont really. That trailer is perfect. People are getting interested without knowing too much.

Just saw the trailer for this one...have avoided all spoilers, so the location revealed in the trailer was a shock (to me). Really pumped for this one. Best cast in a predator film to date is a major plus

The theme for this summer is comedy and kiddie movies. So Predators might do really good because its different from whats is coming out.
