No, what he uses as examples are from the original Trek's timeline.
So, it's not a valid argument.

As was explained by others on that page...*sigh*...it's not the same timeline.

If that *sigh* was a jab at me because you thought I was sighing at you - I wasn't sighing at you. I was sighing because I knew my post would start a new page thus requiring me to edit what I said about the page Spartan Rex's post was on...if that makes any sense.

But no I wasn't talking about his videos from TOS - I was talking about his written post where he talked about Spock trying to prove himself as a vulcan and how shagging Uhura on the side just didn't jibe with that. Only he said it better.

Hey, I got a laugh out of it.

This would have been a bit fitting too :)

Honestly, I don't care which Trek timeline is right or better.
I like 'em all...including ENTERPRISE.

So...back to the movie PREDATORS!

With a big a schnoze as Brody has he should be able to smell them coming a mile away.

I did see that, but I was joking, you were trying to steer things back on course and I was jokingly rekindling the big ruckuss over casting. I'm fine with Brody.

How does it not?

We don't know everything that was changed by Nero's presence.

..No..how does it? If Nero appeared after Spocks childhood and formative years then everything up to that point should have occured exactly as it occured in the original universe. However, I could be fundamentally wrong - does the film suggest that Nero appeared before (as in chronologically in time, not just as the scenes were laid out in the film) Spocks younger years??

Yeah, we're back on Predators now.

Ignore all Trek references...they have their own thread somewhere.

As it was released, the film picks up with Spock as like a 7 year old after the initial NERO attack, there is also a deleted scene that they shot, they were going to have a Spock birth scene to go with Kirk's birth scene but ultimately cut it.

Spock is somewhat older than Kirk so that makes no sense.
Oh wait...thats right...its a whats it called?...a reboot.
