No, what he uses as examples are from the original Trek's timeline.
So, it's not a valid argument.
As was explained by others on that page...*sigh*...it's not the same timeline.
So...back to the movie PREDATORS!

We don't know everything that was changed by Nero's presence.
..No..how does it? If Nero appeared after Spocks childhood and formative years then everything up to that point should have occured exactly as it occured in the original universe. However, I could be fundamentally wrong - does the film suggest that Nero appeared before (as in chronologically in time, not just as the scenes were laid out in the film) Spocks younger years??
As it was released, the film picks up with Spock as like a 7 year old after the initial NERO attack, there is also a deleted scene that they shot, they were going to have a Spock birth scene to go with Kirk's birth scene but ultimately cut it.
