Nothing tops Dusk Till Dawn and that guitar.

I remember the first time I saw that movie and I'd have never guessed in a million years it had anything to do with vampires for the first half an hour.

There is not one character in that movie named Mr. Black. So....I dont get the connection.

There's your connection. Official merchandise from the film is using that dumb ass name.

He gets the name because he's all black. He's the Black Super Predator.

He's the same color as the other two Predators. How exactly is he "all black"!?

Mr. Black sounds cooler. It's just a code name that stuck.

Actually it doesn't. And it's not a "code name" it's a nickname. Big difference.

Yeah, just an homage.

It's a nod from the filmakers to the fans of the first movie.

It has a part to play in the movie, but the focus is definately the new Preds.

Which makes absolutely no sense to me. Especially if the rumors are true and this P-1 Predator (that's supposed to be a homage and nod) gets captured then murked with his skull and spine ripped out Mortal Kombat style.

That's more like a swift kick in the nuts to fans of the previous films.

Yeah, I could care less personally. Just think the notion of that "Classic" Pred being a homage/nod to original fans is kinda weird considering how he seems like a complete FUBAR.

It is causing a lot of confusion when people are thinking it is the actual orignal predator. If it does end up dead at least everyone will know then after they see the film.

Id' rather not see it. Why interfere with the first movie? Why take a character and re-kill him? Because making the same looking costume and calling the predator some cheesy name such as "Mr. Black" or "Classic" wont change a thing.

This movie will have absolutely no affect on my enjoyment of the other movies.

So, there's not reason not to enjoy it.

There's something wrong with you guys.

They arent going to run around saying "OH LOOK ROYCE! THE CLASSIC PREDATOR IS GOING TO FIGHT MR. BLACK!" That wont happen. (However, they might say Mr. Black....kinda sounds like something they would say to seperate them...but I highly doubt it.)

Did they call any of the AvP Predators their names? Did they call, in AvP-R, the Predator; Wolf, or the PukeAlien; Chet.....?

These are just names to call them while on set. And they stuck for marketing purposes. So please, get over the goddamn names. Lmao.


And yes, the classic Predator dies. He doesnt go out like Darth Maul. They have this big drawn out fight....but the strong, and yet at the same time weaker, wins the battle. Mr. Black only wins because he's a stronger more ____ed up monster.

I hardly see that as a kick in the nuts. It furthers the story. Plus, it aint about the goddamn Predators anyway. It's about the characters. Period. Thats where they're going with this film. Thankfully they keep the Predators out of the film for the first half hour.

And why not bring back the classic looking Predator? We havent seen that costume since 1987...

It's not like this IS the Predator from that movie....just from that clan...or something. Plus, you're going to get a cheaper and easier to find Sideshow bio helmet out of it. So it's a win/win.
