Thanks so much for the kind words Kris all that's missing from that pic is my War Machine 1:1 Bust which was is the biggest bust out of all the Iron Man ones released to date so that one remains in its box

WOW!!! which bust you got coming? Yea, I never thought you collected busts I really have to say that I've stuck purely with Iron Man in regards to my lifesize busts - albeit one which is my Lord of Darkness bust which is my holy grail so its nice to have a theme going with the bust collection rather than have say 12 different busts from different licenses. Besides, these things are total space eaters!!! Cant wait to hear about your purchase bud

He does indeed brother Tam seems to have received quite a bashing on the marvel thread with a lot of collectors disappointed that the blue glow around the arc reactor wasn't changed or that it looks plastic...in all honesty, it doesn't look a million miles away from the actual proto pics on the Sideshow website so I'm not disappointed at all. We've all seen the pics that were posted of this bust from the January Toy Fairs in London and Nuremberg and I knew back then that there would be no changes...with the right lighting for the display this bust will look epic among all the others....I cant wait either brother

Thanks Steve, yea....nice to get all the pieces on my wish list completed. Its been a long 2 years but I managed to track them all down Still wont rule out a purchase or two from the old school stuff. Pieces such as the original Sideshow Grey Hulk PF, the HCG T-800 Endo 1:2 half scale Bust and HCG T-800 1:2 half scale LSF to name a few, are still pieces that I want to eventually add to my collection but these were never on wish list

Such an awesome statue will look awesome with the pf. Or purched above looking down at the com

Looks good Andy (was this the one on ebay in the Uk recently?). My spidey grail is the Venom Comiquette. Still haven't found one at a reasonable price.

It was quite funny in that I've not seen too many of these GG PF's go up in the UK and so it was my luck when 2 of them went up at the same time Hope you have similar luck with your Venom Comiquette, although like you said, those tend to go for quite high prices

Thanks so much for the kind words I know your a big Iron Man fan too as for Megatron, well he shipped last Friday and I've yet to recieve any updates on the tracking as it's coming direct from the Philipphines so I'm resigned to getting him mid next week now. However, fear not as I have a few teaser pics which I'll post up tomorrow to show what has to be one of, if not the biggest shipping box I think I've ever seen or recieved before...I thought the custom Predator box was big, this one makes that look like a box of tissues I'm talking full size refrigerator big!

G1 Megatron Half Scale Custom Statue Update:

Okay guys, so the G1 Megatron half scale statue is well on its way to me after being shipped last Friday but with no updates on the tracking it looks like it will be arriving mid next week now however, fear not as I have a few exclusive teaser pics!! So as you know my G1 Optimus Prime which was recently repainted into a more animated style, is ready and waiting for Megs to arrive so they can go into battle together and stand side by side in an epic G1 display...however, I'm pleased to say that my Megatron has already had the same treatment and has been repainted the same way as I had Prime done and to ressemble a more G1 animated feel to it as this is how I best remember them I posted a pic a few weeks ago of the final completed Megatron statue in its original factory colour scheme which was the metallic silver and predominantly weathered with battle damage, just like the original design for the Optimus Prime...and remember, mine will have a completely different colour scheme to this...here is the pic again

Let the teasing begin ....now if you thought Optimus Prime was big at just over 42" tall then stand by for Megatron

now I've been in touch with Infinity Creative Designs about this pic and although Megatron seems to tower over Prime, I've been told that the picture angle is slightly misleading and isn't as tall as that pic shows. This custom Megatron is roughly 45" tall and is apparently slightly larger than Optimus anyway so at least it remains accurate in that aspect

Another nice feature was that the first 10 orders for Megatron would all receive an Exclusive 'Bumblebee' severed head and this would be placed in the clasping hand of Megatron as a sign of him revelling in his victory over the autobots! As you can also see from the pics above, it comes with a much more detailed base including the crushed body of Ironhide which Megatron is crushing with his foot plus an extra exclusive which was kindly added to my order and that is the severed head of Ironhide aswell Not only that but like my Optimus Prime, Megatron will also include fully working light up features for the eyes (red) and the huge canon (yellow)

Now I've already seen my completed Megatron and I am totally pumped about receiving him and I really don't want to give too much away at this stage to how mine looks as I wanted it to be a surprise but hell to it! hahahaha here is a teaser of my G1 WIP repaint!

and check this out.....when I was sent a pic of the shipping box I was totally stunned! the box has to be the biggest that I've ever received in my 2 years of collecting...it literally is the size of a refridgerator!!! I've already told the wife that Megatron is on its way (which she wasn't best pleased about if i'm being totally honest) so imagine what her reaction will be when she sees this beast turn up!
