Hey guys, forgot to mention a few purchases that i picked up last week for a great price! Only got to open them up yesterday...

They are the 2 Predator Diorama Exclusives from both Pred 1 & 2 movies. Although i promised myself not to purchase anymore pieces smaller than 1/4 scale i just couldnt resist having these 2 fanatastic sculpts in my collection.

As mentioned both are the Exclusives which are the extra head portraits and both come with really cool Predator 1 and 2 display bases - also love the versatility of these pieces as they can also be attached to a wall thus giving the visual display a more stand out feel...for now i just have them sat in my detolf but i'd definately like these hung from the wall at some point - along with a few of those other amazing SSC dioramas from the Alien movies!

Still on standby for a new SSC Predator 1/4 scale PF/Maquette in the future to go with my Dutch PF but for now these will have to do

Anyway, here's a quick snap of them both together...

good displays have u seen new hot toys robocop plus cant beleive iv just ordered the black stormtrooper just hope there is a low ed number

Where did you pick them up? Quite jealous right now Predator is my favourtie character.

Dude, you have the classiest displays I've ever seen so far. The extra time and effort you put into making an awesome piece stand out even better is really cool. I love the Keaton Batman, but I'm totally blown away by the He-Man display. Love the Preds, and all your earlier acquired pieces too. I can't wait to see what you do with future pieces. Awesome work, Roberto.

Your Preds look great Andy. I'm still waiting for HT to release there 1st 1/4 Predator. I loved my 1/6 Predators, that was the only reason why I sold them because of that announcement so hope they don't let me down & not make any.

Your right, I don't have enough Pred stuff in my collection as I'd like but that's only cos I'm holding out for a new 1/4 classic Pred Maquette/PF from SSC. Surely it's time for a new one...so gutted I missed out in the original maquette a few years too late and now look at the secondary market prices! :

Thanks Steve, yea, was just explaining in my reply to CollectorCol that i was gutted to miss out on the original SSC Pred Maquette...the secondary market prices have sky rocketed and i cant see myself owning one of them (although i did say that about the Doom PF so you never know!) but yea, i'm all for a new 1/4 Pred mate!

Thanks for taking the time to look through my thread and i hope to bring you some more of those displays pretty soon...starting with the the 1989 Batmobile display (which will tie in with the Keaton BatCave) and also thinking of a cool idea for my Enterbay Terminator T-800 Battle Damaged figure with the Hot Toys 1/4 Endoskeleton! Watch this space!

Thanks Darth Jay. Yea, ive the seen the BlackHole Stormie and i'm not happy about it all! Just had my rant over on the thread. As an owner of 2 White Stormies i'm disgusted that SSC couldnt even be bothered to change the pose at the very least...even the base is the same for gods sake! And the final insult...adding a further $60 to the asking price!

@ paramore - Cool bud! When and where are getting him from? Will probably buy from Sideshow in the next week or so. I've actually got approx. $100 worth of credit from SSC to use for pieces that arrived with minor damage over the past few months so that will come in handy. I'll post a recent pic that was put up over on the EB Endo thread showing the scale comparison between the HT Endo and the Enterbay BD T-800

@ Collectorcol - Your so lucky having that Pred CM Col...its an awesome piece that i'd love to have! Its 1/3 scale right? Have to agree with you in regards to the Pred 1/5 being disappiointing...Will they ever re-release the Classic Pred in 1/4?
P.S Massive congrats on the Vampirella PF Col! She looks amazing!!! and i still cant believe your Hulk hasnt arrived yet! I think you should make a big thing of it when it arrives at your doorstep! I'm talking Champers, Chocolate cake, party poppers, the lot! Out of everyone that has the Hulk Maquette in their collection its probably you that has wanted it the most! Here is that scale comparison pic over on the other thread...the endo does come up a little short on both figures...however, if you take into consideration the endo has no muscle tissue, skin or clothes to it then you'd agree that it is correctly scaled...

Don't know why different manufactures get varied sizes in the same scale? You'd think 1/4 was 1/4! Still looks cool though.

I'm getting my Endo from Sideshow and he was supposed to have been dispatched in May, can't see that happening unless they send him in the next few hours!! He's sold out now. So was lucky getting him, had less than 20 when I ordered a few weeks ago.

Yep, just checked...how lame is that! oh well...just gonna have to stick with the original plan and wait for Enterbay to hopefully come up with something...that or try to pick the HT version up on eBay
