Definitely gonna see this, but just for the action, story wise looks like, watered down I don't know.

Suit looks light, has no intimidation factor like the original had.

The voice I think it sounded cool.

Why on earth didn't they go with the silver suit?

Look at the bright-side, at least it brings attention back to RoboCop. You'll see a re-release of the classics on Blu-Ray. Perhaps even Hot Toys took note and THIS is why they redid the classic RoboCop figures. They just recently did Frank Miller's RoboCop script in comic form.

I mean, like or hate the remake, it's a good time to be a RoboCop fan.

I think it looks good. Nothings ever gonna top the original, i recently watched it on blu ray and it holds up so well, its a classic, and growing up Robocop was my $hi*! So im happy to see another spin on it, the action and effects look cool, good cast, enough changes to make it interesting but faithful enough for fans to embrace.

Im excited for it, The silver "proto" suit looks amazing, idk why the black, unless thats a part of the film where hes "bad" or somthing, not shure but looking foward to it. The Total Recall remake turned out to be good IMO and that was another Verhoeven retool

This makes me want the SS Robo PF...must wait to see what PCS does with Robo.

And this movie compared to the original seems to be made for today's movie go'er (in the mind's of the studios)....no depth.

Yeah the FX look okay for the most part, just that part when he was jumping made him look like "I, Robot".

Looks decent but as I've always said, why does it have to be called Robocop, Halloween, etc etc etc. You could almost make this entire film, leave out the connection to Alex Murphy and it becomes something half assed original.

The suit also looks like a huge step down from the original.

Oh and talk about an excellent supporting cast. That'll save the day imo.

To be fair, any movie where a cop get rebuilt as a cyborg would've been called a Robocop knockoff anyway so why not?

That's a very meaningless implication, after all, Samuel L Jackson's in it too, plus I haven't seen that movie completely so I don't give a **** if it was bad, didn't care for the originals anyway.

And it seems he's playing the rebooted equivalent of Boddicker, at least that's what I'm hoping for so it might suit him better, so again... you buzzkill
