I understand that Fett fanboys have wet dreams about him but personally I consider his character way overrated, and with the PT crap even more so. Unless Disney does a really good job with him in RO, better keep him for his own movie.
we "Fett fanboys" dig the character because he is so much a part of our imagination... we had to fill in the blanks... the mystery of Fett is what we gravitate to... we don't need or want things spelled out... Fett is a little bit of each of us.

I just read a story (can't link at moment) that images from the Nuremburg Toy Fair were leaked of a Lego Slave 1 with Rogue One packaging, which has led to speculation that Boba Fett will be appearing in the upcoming movie
I wouldn't be surprised, though I don't think it is necessary. As many have said before, kind of makes the Star Wars universe seem a bit small.

Indeed. Rogue started off as a side project to the new trilogy but with them now having Vader in the movie it's become something bigger. I imagine Vader will be over all the posters and merchandise.
