What's even cooler is that in this hypothetical reality, Anakin would have trained Luke.

Anakin looks pretty kewl.

Luke looks like a dork.

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

How the **** would Luke have Anakin's lightsaber in that reality if Anakin has Anakin's lightsaber.

Order Cancelled.

Yup, can't wait to hear how bad the movie is from those who saw it 3 times in 1 week.

Pretty much....shouldn't be any surprises what these films provide / won't provide at this point. Knowing what to expect and knowing disappointment is lurking then still putting down money falls back to the person buying the ticket not the studio :lol

Eh well, the movie won't be epic (may or may not) be any good but I'm still looking forward to seeing it......I suppose looking forward to seeing it makes me a drinker of fruity sugary beverages.

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

The cool rebellious kids won't like it....they'll spend weeks after the release enlightening us all on the evils of Disney's formulas in filmmaking....even tho by now anyone who visits the movie section just once is perfectly clear each studio brand has a formula.....good times ahead :yess:

:lol :lecture So damn true.

When that failed he got this thing.

I'm looking forward also; so I guess that makes both of us drinkers of sugary beverages.

Even with that thing Vader was clueless he was interrogating his daughter. :lol

That is why he was forever a henchman and never the man in charge.

I don't get why he needed it when he could have just force chocked the answers from her.

The whole idea that Leia is Vader's daughter is a lame one anyway. It was a stupid concept long before the prequels.

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

Yea Kylo Ren was interrogating people with the force and getting his answers.

Vader force powers are about on par with Lukes wiffle ball bat saber skills

I guess George didn't get that far yet.

Others will need to double their efforts today to beat this post. :lol

I approve.

Protocols. :dunno

Protocols? He ****ing chocked out his fellow officers! Why can't he chocke out some catty rebel ***** instead of injecting her with some truth serum and forcep thingies.

In that film it was only during the senior stuff meating.
Tarkin cared enough to stop him and he obeyed.
I'm pretty sure they didn't want Vader to just casually walk around chokin' everyone.
At least durin' the period when Moffs were in charge.

No one was ever in charge of Vader. He answered to the Emperor & the Emperor alone. And everyone in the empire new it. That is why he was feared even by all the Mof's, Admirals and everyone else in the empire. He was un-predictable. As far as obeying Tarkin, you have to remember he had a bond and respect/friendship with Tarkin going back to when he was Anakin (during the Clone Wars as shown in the animated series). Tarkin is the only person who suspected Anakin was vader, but never confronted him or the Emperor with that question.

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

Sorry but I'm not takin' EU stuff into account.
I love EU but sayin' that Vader wasn't ansverin' to Tarkin in the original film is ridiculous.
