I'm not taking that path, for me it's pretty simple...

Does it have X-Wings shooting Tie Fighters, yes...i'm there lol.

I know right.....Darth Vader storming into the room with Krennic....I was sold. He better force choke the ***** after that or I'll be disappointed :lol

Neither does Disney. I know I don't matter. But everyone's entitled to vote in the only way that matters: with their dollar. Mine won't be contributing to this anymore.

Ill wait for the reviews here and the rotten tomatoes score before i decide whether or not to bother with it in theaters

I agree that the media can definitely help, but with these forced changes what they're doing is actually divide the people more, which is why all the controversy, race-swapping, gender-swapping established characters that people love, how the Empire are evil white guys, this stuff alienates people, and the opposing group then feels alienated when these changes are not accepted.

Everbody loves Ripley, everybody loves Bruce Lee. But anyway, you use a very accurate term; "overcorrection", being tremendously optimistic maybe it's just that and society is going through a period of readjustment.

I'm not calling anyone by their made up pronouns though, that's were I draw the line.

Well the English should be offended with the OT because for Empire, Irwin said he cast English actors for the Empire and American actors for the Rebels. We still only saw two woman speak on camera in ESB, Leia and the Hoth weapons officer, and then we got Lando. Not much diversity in the OT at all.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16)

If anybody cares, I won't be seeing this film.

TFA pushed me right to the edge of being done with SW after a lifelong love affair, but the first trailer for Rogue One pushed me over.

I'm done. I know one person makes no difference to the Disney Monolith, but I can't use my hard earned money to contribute in any way to this garbage.

The only money the Mouse will ever get out of me will be for pristine reissues of the OT in original theatrical form, or figures I really want from the OT.

No "new" SW merchandise will ever be in my collection.

Some of you think we'll all eat it up and just keep supporting SW no matter what, but not all of us. Maybe if there are enough fans like me that have also had enough, it will affect their bottom line ever so slightly and they'll notice.

But I doubt it.

Ok, you have completely lost me. Why do you hate a movie that you have not even seen and judged for yourself? This is supposed to be a different take on the Star Wars universe and I would think you would want to judge each completed movie on its own merits to see if you like it. Condemning it because of its first trailer makes no logical sense at all. But to each his own. I bought my IMAX tickets!!

Yes, AOTC is really the test of any devoted Star Wars fan, if you can watch that movie more than once, then you will watch anything with the Star Wars moniker attached to it. This includes me.

I honestly don't know what some of you are seeing in the Rogue One trailer that is turning you off so much, looks like fun to me.

Some people don't like fun.

I tried giving ROTS another chance the other night, just did not happen. No way would I even try TPM or AOTC again. I can still remember the bad CGI of AOTC from in the theater...the horror...the horror...lol

I can tolerate TPM and ROTS on a occasional basis, as there is just enough good to look forward to, to help me stomach the bad.

I won't lie, I own AOTC, But I've only put it in my Blu player twice. Once for me and once for my daughter.

Natalie Portman gets me through Attack of the clones every time. Sometimes I watch it just for her :)

They should've made "I survived" Anakin riding a tick, Dex's diner and Lucas's version of love t-shirts.

I don't mind TPM and RoTS basically because I find more good than bad.....AoTC on the other hand. I watched in theater and when I bought Blu ray set. I enjoy me some Star Wars but damn it's tough to watch.

Some of you really have problems with females in lead roles and people who aren't white in any role.

Otherwise I don't understand the problem. Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding the issue.
