Wow, the male eye rolling at "another pandering chick" role is quite sad. BFD. There really is a nutty segment of the audience that thinks women are ruining their action movies.

Mon Mothma is the Rebellion's leader after all, so it would make sense she wants someone in charge she can trust. Not some egotistical male out trying to prove how bad ass he is so he has a story to tell his fellow rebellions and to charm the ladies with...

I think people (sometimes me) get mad just cause everything seems to be forced nowadays with females/gender swapping, race swapping, inter-racial relationships... Too often it just feels more forced than natural progression or story telling. Disney is trying to gather a larger audience. Men will see this no matter what, they need more woman to get excited...

trailer was meh imo, this seems like a movie only die hard SW fans might enjoy. The SW and DC franchises trying to copy the MCU seems so forced to me.

Lol....so true.....

trailer was meh imo, this seems like a movie only die hard SW fans might enjoy. The SW and DC franchises trying to copy the MCU seems so forced to me.

God forbid we don't get a SW movie that just copies the plot of a previous one.....Seriously, I am really pumped for this SW movie since its a very different looking and interesting take on the universe we have known only under the Reign of Emperor George

Is it just my imagination or have they changed the classic Stormtrooper design juuuuuust enough to completely **** over Andrew Ainsworth and Shepperton Design Studios?
