When I say it I refer to physical strength only.

Since Jedi and Sith are more like espers; I don't think it applies to them, but I guess you could say "heavy hitter Jedi", I don't know :lol

For instance, Supes and Thor are heavy hitters, but they can like, break planets with punches :lol

I've only seen people use "heavy hitter" to refer to brawlers.

Oh, I didn't know you meant heavy hitter as in literally hitting hard :lol

I'm excited as it ends the way I said it should end. Disney did not go with happy sappy ending.

When asked if its better then OT or TFA, all said its just different then those movies. Its a self contained war movie. Different vibe.

When I was younger I didn't see the beauty in wrestling, I want to get back to fighting and learn Jiu Jitsu or something, it's pretty cool looking and effective.

It's pretty freaking effective. A very nice equalizer. In my opinion, the most effective combat arts are Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Greco-Roman Wrestling and of course, BJJ.

[...] What I like about Muay Thai are the knees, elbows and kicks, the kicks are tough on your shins at first but once your bones get harder you feel like you have metal rods for shins, and I like the stance too.

While my shins retain a lot of their conditioning after all that time, the mechanics of the swing-kick itself are hard on the back as I get older. If I found myself in trouble today, I'd probably default to clinch/knees to defend myself. Nasty and difficult for the untrained to deal with.

These days I spend more time running and doing yoga, although I still make it into the gym to work the heavy bag. The scenery in yoga is generally *quite* nice.

Yeah :lol

There are other terms, like "planet buster", and that one can also be used for espers and reality benders I think.

For instance, I don't know if Darth Nihilus could be considered planet buster, I believe he can kill the surface of an entire planet.

The clinch is pretty cool (had to look that up cause I didn't know the name in English :lol), I've always wanted to see a little of Roman wrestling in superhero movies, Superman and other heavy hitters use it quite frequently actually, and it must look spectacular.

That's cool, I used to be a assistant Teacher for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu at my local gym. I used to teach the newer students, the guy I taught under, he was amazing, besides actually learning under the Gracie's themselves he was also a 4th degree black belt in Aikido. I saw him get his certification/belt in Aikido, it was amazing, he took on 4 other attackers at once with ease. I was okay at Gracie, but I couldn't last more than 10 seconds against my teacher.

Anyway, that was half (my) lifetime ago, wish I was still in that kind of shape.

I find myself contemplating Yoga more and more lately, I will try it eventually, I'll try and open my third eye.

What about Bas Rutten? Dude's old but he can still bust anyone's pancreas like a bubble :lol

Is Aikido the one you redirect your opponent's momentum against him? That one is awesome and looks awesome.

The most effective combat art is the art of fighting without fighting. :lecture You need a boat though...

Oh, and the art of Steven Seagal. You need a ponytail for that one.

Most of the rumors are true, I did not ask this but the other rumors have been confirmed, so I would say Vader chokes him.

Yeah, my Ajahn is a little Thai dude in his late 50's and he'll **** you up. :lol

I'm in decent shape, but the last couple of years have been spent trying to boost my career, so the level of fitness I once maintained as a fighter was bound to tank. I used to be a beast, albeit a small one (I was a lightweight).

I started yoga while I was fighting. Helped my flexibility and undid some of the damage I sustained. I do Bikram though...26 postures, 90 minutes, 40 degrees celsius. It's actually freaking hard. But I love the deep sweat. Just gotta be careful not to over-extend -- the heat can be deceiving.

Aikido is AMAZING. Too bad it takes a lifetime to master, like most things. I did fencing for while and although I loved it, wasn't going to go far as an adult.
