Did anyone make the joke that this movie was the real Suicide squad?

My wife leaned over to me as the credits rolled to tell me that.

No, not likely. Did Harmy also do a reworking of the PT? I heard someone did -- compressed all three movies into a good hour and a half or something. I would be curious to see that cut.

There are plenty of fan edits out there but Harmy isn't behind those. He did respecialise the 1997 version of ANH as a side project, but he hasn't touched the prequels.

I haven't seen any of the fan cuts but Khev's seen the Phantom edit of Attack of the Clones and he said it improved it a lot.

It was what Suicide Squad wasn't - a quality movie.

Just cutting half the painful romance scenes, the library scene and the Dex scene would go along way to making it tolerable.

Dex is the best part of Episode II, along with Dooku. AOTC is by far the worst Star Wars movie, but I always thought Obi-Wan's mission along with the Geonosis arena was the best part of the movie. The whole lame clone mystery Obi-Wan is following, along with the 50s diner was cooler than the Naboo, Anakin and Padme ****.

I hope the next Star Wars story is Obi-Wan on tatoonie. I'm sure old Ben made cantina friends just like he did with Dex.

Biggs is just a quick shot of him in the space battle.....

But where the hell was Chopper???

I've seen it twice and I didn't see Biggs in a cockpit. Chopper goes rolling to the left after the tech runs after Mon Mothma to tell her about the battle. When she tries to contact Raddus.

Look I really enjoyed RO but i'm sorry, I just don't buy it in ANH.

When the pilots are getting their briefing in ANH what General Madonna describes just doesn't match this whole new Erso subplot.

He says that an analysis of the plans is how they figured out the location of the exhaust port, not that they were given this great gift by the engineer behind the project.



But man Vader sure was a beast in RO albeit with a wonky voice and height.

Well the exhaust port was always the way in but RO just makes the design flaw more credible now when watching ANH. I guess people looked past that obvious flaw back in the '70/80's.
