Re: Rogue one: Spoilers confirmed! You are warned do no read these are real

Just wondering, has anyone seen the numbers 1138 anywhere in the movie? I've seen it a few times already and didn't notice them on anything.

I looked and listened intently for 1138 but I couldn't find it. Its probably there (more than likely). That's why I want the Blu-Ray right now so I can pause stuff and look at it more closely.

Just saw Rogue One. Over all I give it a 7 out of 10. I enjoyed it especially the last half hour and it's a great opening to episode 4. The movie fleshes out the Star Wars universe greatly and I would like to see more. For me Empire Strikes Back is still the best.

Now that we just watched dead Cushing in a new SW movie i'm looking forward to an Indy movie with a young Ford again and while they're at it just make another Sergio Leone western with a young Eastwood.

They should use the same technology in the Han Solo film. Why bother to have Leia and all those other characters looking the same in order to maintain some kind of continuity, and then completely ignore it in the Han Solo film? :dunno

Did I imagine it or was one of the places they visited an anagram of obi wan ?

Absolutely loved it and can't wait to see it again. Tarkin was handled really well and gave much more of an insight into his murderous personal.

no you didn't it was called Wobani

Silly idea. Movie studios would never do something like that :thwak

That and how the hell did the droids get on her ship from Yavin just moments before when Bail said he was going home and sending his daughter after Obi Wan. I think they cut those scenes together wrong and out of order for them to flow and make sense.

Yes, ok that makes sense but that scene is slightly misleading.

Mothma - What about your Jedi friend?
Organa - I'll make contact.
Mothma - We'll need someone we can trust
Organa - I trust her with my life

I thought Bail was talking about a female Jedi a.k.a. Ahsoka.

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (12/16/16) *NO SPOILERS ALLOWED*

...Sometimes I wish movies had the 5-second-repeat function that my DVR has. Sometimes I find my hand reaching out as if to do it in the movie.

That just sounds wrong. I cannot unread what Wor-Gar 'might' be doing now...

Re: Rogue one: Spoilers confirmed! You are warned do no read these are real

I think I found a big inconsistency, We all known that rogue one goes straight into ANH and after that sequence with Vader, why does he think that tantive ship is on a diplomatic mission when they do catch up to it?

Plus Vader says "several transmissions were beamed to this ship" but according to RO only the flagship received the transmission then they copied it to a disk. At least the "several" part was right (4 if I remember correctly) and Captain Antillies wasn't lying when he said they received no transmissions :)

Seriously, if we nitpick it. Vader actually chased the plans onto the ship. He saw them transferring hands all the way to the Tantive IV. Lol. If he had just blown the ship up in the first place then the Rebels would never have gotten the plans.
