I can't believe they're not doing ANH in limited release, this May or something, to follow-up on Rogue One. They already have Rogue One's sequel ready!
I caught it again this morning....I am still very pleased with the overall film. I realized part of my enjoyment was watching the story / characters set in my SW era. Beyond a better flick than TFA, I enjoy watching the empire I grew up watching. I'm still onboard for Ep 8 & 9 but something about bringing back the classic look is more satisfying to me. I hope this isn't the last one and done films from this time period.
its not.. Young Han Solo is coming ...
Has it been confirmed how many years before ANH it is set?
Wow. Not sure what to say about this. Do I start with how boring the first half of the film was or how awful the casting was? I could start with how utterly crap the CGI Peter Cushing looked but I assume that's been a topic of discussion for a while now.
I thought Tarkin looked okay. I mean he looked fake and like a video game model, but it was fine because that's what it was. Not as good as Michael Douglas in Ant-Man or RDJ in Civil War, but still a decent effort. It was about on par with the young Arnold from Terminator Genisys. You know it's weird and not real but you just go with it.
Leia was too creepy though. That didn't work. I'm still getting nightmares from that face.
indeed. Just as long as they don't ever re-CGI slave leia in some movie, leave the classic fapworthy material alone!!!!!
Knowing what Carrie has become totally eliminated any hotness I used to find in the costume. CGI that ***** up with six pack / D's and lets go
I want to see Carrie Fisher as Leia in a Slave girl outfit for Episode 9.
The only thing that's now a little unintentionally funny is Leia trying to deny any knowledge of the stolen plans or having any part in the rebellion. At least Vader doesn't entertain that in the slightest
However, no matter what happens, I feel I've gotten at least one more good Star Wars film here and I don't see how that can be undone.
