Maybe Little Annie might give up his life of crime and be next!

I wasn't completely sold on the music when RO first came out but now the more I watch, it seems to work (if that makes sense). It helps that it's a kick @ss flick too I suppose.:lol

Music sucked.

Lloyd was there in 2010. He walked right by me on the Convention Center floor as the autograph sessions were ending and the celebs were starting to head out. Had to do a double take because at first I assumed he was someone's kid (even in his 20's he didn't reach my shoulder.)

Music sucked.

Yeah and the third act ruined the movie. :duh

;)

Ford, JEJ, McGregor, Portman, SLJ, Smits and Neeson are the remaining big guns who've never attended (that are still alive obviously.) If Ahmed Best counts I don't know that he's ever gone either.

So silly not to attend, smile and collect money.

Back to RO, imagine how much better the movie would've been, including the 3rd act, had the music been able to match the quality of that 3rd act!

It would've elevated an already good movie and already great 3rd act into truly superior quality.

For instance look at the Ewok battle segments of ROTJ, the incredbile score is what makes that watchable.

It's a testament to the quality of RO 3rd act that it's awesome even with the weak music, shame that the score wasn't able to match the action and drama.

Yeah when I went to CV I saw Lloyd. The best thing about that event wasn't the celebs, they sucked. It was the hoth ice bar.

I remember I gave up on trying to go to the Lucas panel and went back to my hotel. That was the night he revealed the Blu ray Jedi Luke lightsaber footage.

Never attending doesn't necessarily equate to disavowing SW. Portman has been interviewed in recent months and has had positive things to say.

Really, I thought Portman hated the PT.

Not at all. Can you imagine spending a day answering "memba" questions from a bunch of nerds who want their toys signed?

Rubbish,

Khev and DiFabio only asked one question each.

I hate celebs. I don't idolize any of them. They look like little ****s behind their tables. If I were a famous actor, I wouldn't attend those things either. People like Portman and Ford have the right idea.

Fat smelly fan bois asking the same questions and stories would piss me off. Security would end up getting called as I have a breakdown when asked how it felt to be in a Stah Wahs movie for the thousandth time.

Khev better be careful, Hayden might reenact the Jedi Temple and Sandpeople killings on the convention floor.

Hehe probably.

Random thought (apologies if this has been covered already): Anyone else think it weird young Jyn had a Stormtrooper doll?

Could have been part of Galen's cover but still sends the wrong message to a young and impressionable mind.

Guess he could have brought her up thinking the Empire was OK - till she saw Mommy get shot.

Jyn didn't care about politics, she probably just thought it looked cool. Mom and Dad didn't take it away because they didn't want to risk a shovel to the face.

And meeting the celebrities is my favorite part of Celebrations. I've always found there to be a neat energy to the whole "meet and greet" process and it's fun to come away knowing that your life intersected with those you see on screen. Carrie Fisher was never one to mince words and she said that she enjoyed meeting fans for the most part. I'm sure there are fans that annoy them and that they might have their off days and whatnot but overall I think it's cool.

I really wish Diego Luna was going next month. That'd be so cool to do a photo with him, Alan Tudyk and Felicity. He seems like a big fan himself too.

My biggest regret was not approaching Gary Kurtz at CV. He was just sitting at his table with *no one* in line. His autograph was probably only $20 or so. I could have totally picked his brain about so much and we all know that he loves to speak at length giving his side of things. Dang it.
