I'm team Khev and Jye, but damn, it would be fun to be team Di. :lol

Show me again, the powa of the di-side.

Tarkin and Leia looked less than convincing and the Walrusman cameo was silly. There, you've got your criticisms that you can run with.

Personally I have no issues with Tarkin or Leia... They looked fine to me and I was glad they were part of the film.... Walrusman cameo was a low point and one of my least fav moments of the entire saga... Luckily it was only 5 seconds long.

Oh I was just messing with DiFabio. I like Tarkin and Leia too but yeah, Walrusman was totally a "wait, seriously, they literally stopped the entire movie for that?" :lol

DiFabio is really team Khev and jye too. I think he actually gave RO a 7.5 out of 10? Now I know that for SNIKT anything 8 and below means "no redeeming value whatsoever" but otherwise a 7.5 is a decent enough score. He just likes to get people riled up, even for movies he liked. He's the original gray son of a *****.

okay jye, issue #2 of the Rogue One comic adaptation came out and it had more good extended scenes.

When Jyn is thinking back to her time with Saw you see a scene of him teaching her how to fire a sniper rifle. Then another scene of young Jyn in the actual Rebel base on Yavin! She and Saw are standing at the very same circular illuminated table that they're always standing around. Saw and Jyn are on one side of the table, Bail and 10 year old Leia are standing at the other side. Jyn and Leia look across at each other as their "dads" angrily shout at each other. Saw turns and storms off, assumedly leaving the Alliance forever and Jyn goes with him.

Saw assumes that it was Bail who sent Jyn to take him out. So in the initial interrogation at the beginning of the film when Bail emerges from the shadows and adult Jyn sees him that's why they share that quiet moment, because he's the first person at the base that she actually recognizes from when she was younger and he remembers her. So it is no longer just a gratuitous PT reference that isn't connected to anything else in RO.

Also later when Bodhi is sitting in his cell he's having visions of getting pep talks from Galen on Eadu but it's kind of warped because Bor Gullet's tentacles are still writhing around even in his memories. When Cassian keeps asking if he's the pilot he finally disconnects from that memory and remembers who he and where he is.

No reaction to the Saw/Bail scene jye? :tap ;)

Something else that just occurred to me is that when they are in Jedha Cassian tells Jyn "I have a contact in Saw's group who has just gone missing. His sister will be looking for him in the temple, I'm going to try and meet her there," or something like that. Now I'm wondering if the "missing contact" was the dude Cassian blew away at the beginning of the movie? If so that makes him even more of a cold bastard if then he was going to just play off the guy's murder as him going missing so that he could milk some info from the dead guy's sister. :horror

That's who I thought he was talking about.
