Yup, me too.

Makes sense obviously but I never got the entire exchange until watching the Jedha scenes with subtitles last night. It was also interesting to read the full announcements being made by the Empire throughout the city. Something to the effect of "Citizens of the Empire. The just and honorable Empire needs your help in the battle against Saw Gerrera and his vicious criminals. He is harboring the traitorous pilot Bodhi Rook...." and so on. I haven't committed those lines to memory but it was something to that effect.

some really cool stuff khev. the Organa thing is really cool.

Man, what a bad ass.

- Saw the rise and fall of Anakin/Vader
- Lived and fought through the Clone Wars
- Helped fugitive Jedi
- Helped build an organized Rebellion
- Adopted a demented force user's baby
- Tells Saw to go **** himself
- Luke's step dad

Not too mention he's one of the few who probably knows that Anakin/Vader are one in the same.

Yeah, if all those scenes made it from the written script to actually being filmed it would be really cool to see an alternate cut with all of them added in one day. Not because the movie needs extra backstory/exposition but it's all interesting stuff and at the minimum would provide additional excuses to spend more time in that "world."

I don't have a link because I'm just buying the physical issues but Marvel.com might have a spot you can download it.

on a side note- i've been playing a lot of Scarrif lately, I never realized how vicious those U wings are.

The interior art is good too. I couldn't find a full page scan but here at least are some panels showing some of the backstory with Saw training Jyn and their brief time at Alliance HQ.

Damn, Saw's armor is awesome in that panel. reminds me of Vader. Have you read the novel that takes place before RO yet khev? I got my buddy it for xmas and he destroyed it in less than 2 days.

I have not. I just have the RO novelization and now comic adaptation. I probably won't pick up any other novels that are supposed to take place right before or after the movies because I have a hard time not taking them all as fan fiction, canon or not (*cue karamazov saying "and that's exactly what RO the movie is!"*) And lol about the Squidhead being launched into orbit in your Battlefront clip. That's hilarious.

Originally Chirrut's entrance in the "let them pass in peace" scene was much more dramatic but had to be cut for budgetary reasons.

I like those comic book scenes wish they were in the movie.

As it stands now in the movie they present Jyn as never having been to Yavin.

Damn now I almost want a movie about Saw!
