All in all the only thing that will draw me to this is the fate of Jyn..does she die? Is she missing? What happens to her because they never mention her ever in any of EP IV- VII

Not even her name exists. Yes I know she is a new character, but story wise in the SW universe.

One of my complaints about the SW universe since the PT has been the "small galaxy" thing.

Given that this is a galactic conflict, we don't necessarily need to hear about Jyn in Ep. 4-6. She was part of a rebel insurgency and took part in a critical operation, but her fate isn't necessarily more or less important to the OT protagonists, any more or less so than that of all those downed pilots, fleet troopers and soldiers.

In war, there are casualties.

Well, given that the movies develop around one single overarching story line, which is the rise and fall of the Empire, with characters closely related to each other, it makes sense they would spend time in neighboring systems, but you're right, a Galaxy is lots of space.

So, with that in mind, maybe she dies, I hope she does though, die a dignifying death.

If she faces Vader, she definitely has to die.

you guys are forgetting about the time Disney can fill I between EP 4-5 5-6.

if rouge one does decent, and people like the characters we will get more Jyn.

that would be cool, but if it were up to me I'd distant the next one farther away from the OT's, make Jyn disappear or something into her own storyline if its even worth seeing.

There's also the part where Anakin saves the emperor from falling down the shaft in ROTS and later he throws him down a shaft in ROTJ.
