I hadn't even considered the GA being confused going into the theaters. There's bound to be some people, including very young children that think this is a sequel to The Force Awakens.

quite certain some confusion may exists from lil lil's it's one thing....a grown adult doesn't have any idea what their paying money to see that falls back on their dumb a**.

Kids know it's Star Wars don't have full comphresion ability anyway so their confusion would be short lived. Studio not gonna waste too much time in worrying about either scenario.

I watched that and when it finished the first thing I saw among the options for other videos was a picture of Leia facepalming in ESB. Very apt I thought.

Most non-SW movies goers I have spoken to about this film have no idea when it occurs.....I fully expect Disney will spend the first 15 minutes setting the time and place....and the viewers will still be lost.

1. What wait , is that Darth Vader? I though he was dead?
2. IS that the New bad guys mask? That Ren dude fixed Vaders mask?
3. Is that Princess Leia?
4. I thought they blew up that space station thing once...
5. Which one is the Jedi?
6. Is Jar Jar in this?
7. Does Han Solo come back in this?
8. Where is Luke?
9. Is that tall droid the little ball droids father?
10. Who does Jared Leto play?

Hopefully we will get more of Vader that we did of Leto in SS.....then again, if Vader is a bad that Joker was.....maybe a cameo is best.
