Soooo something really really bad happened.

I was going removing TRUNKS from my glass case and tried to remove the sword holder from his back and the little peg snapped right off.



any ideas on how i can fix it

The same happened with mine. And with 3 or 4 other friends. This peg is really fragile. But I have never fixed it. It stays there and I just make some adjustments whenever I want to take a picture.

Just super glue the peg back on. I did to mine.

see and thats where it starts to suck the fun out of me and others. if tamashii were really money hungry they wouldve released it already. so i do believe that there's something from blocking them which we you dont know off or refuses to believe. you're feeling helpless which is a ****** feeling but we've done our work. Adam has ackowledge it that there's a huge demand for him. they'll eventually get a ssj (majin) vegeta. there's no reason to get all worked up. they and we just neeed to be more patient.
we've all learned by now that life aint fair, right?

I understand, but people who come on here and enter the line now do have an immediate issue of not knowing what tamashii's gonna do with a contradicting history, patience solves nothing for them, because they have to make a decision now and they often ask us, the community, to help with that. Which is good and I'm glad if they find some help, but it's not a matter of patience, whether we want it to or not, the ****** aspect of this weird situation is constantly popping up here in the form of people who see a ****ed up aftermarket and don't know what to do.

You can burn any discussion down the moment it rises if that's what you like (which won't help newcomers at all), but that doesn't change anything for me, fans in a ****** situation is what ruins the fun for me. I don't need (to take part in) a discussion to feel helpless about that.

@Blood I was getting worked up about it because more and more newcomers here run into the problems we discussed, which I find saddening, it puts a damper on things. Especially when the producer leaves it unaddressed.



That's definitely not the first time I've heard that happen. But I don't think I've ever come across a good fix for it sadly. Nothing except something permanent like glue. No way I'm ever taking that sheath off.

Man this happened to mine . Peg is too brittle. I wouldnt have removed it either but he has to get packed and only way is by removing it sadly

I was able to glue the peg back on the sheath and it functions perfectly normally

@angelo -- Most of us do know how your group feels man. I started collecting sideshow products in '10 and of course, I too missed out on some fine pieces. some pieces i'll never even have in my collection (unless i save up big time) due to the asking prices. so i know how your group feels man. now a cool thing about SS is that they do revisit popular characters. but statue's have a fixed pose so if they go with what you believe is a gay ass pose compared to the previous one, you're still pretty much bummed out. take the 1:1 predator bust for example. it came out years ago and they'll never release anything like that any more. 2 years ago they announced a new predator bust, scale 1:2. which looks nice and it's a nice variant for the people who missed out on the 1:1 but it still looks nothing like the 1:1 though.

ow i know vegeta is a key character but when i look at the marvel fans, they've been screaming for a magneto PF for years and still haven't gotten one. Just now they finally announced a (hellraiser) Pinhead PF which you can still see in the banner of this forum where the Horror fans have been screaming for for like 10 years or so. Guess which character they still haven't done though? Michael Myers. which is a big key character to the horror genre. SS kept saying that they have license issue's with it but then comes along HCG with a MM statue. so how is it possible for them to do one and SS cant? but hey, if it takes another 10 year, so be it. im pretty much collecting till I die. i and many others who missed out on the first one also want a new leatherface PF, but will that ever happen? who knows? i may never have them in my collection and i see them as key characters for my collection :/

I agree with blood, i've missed out on so many wolverine statues and feel the same. Im patient that i may find them cheaper at some point all I can do. N the magneto thing is so true but like he said all I can do is wait. I feel you also sirian but what he's saying I think is, help the newbies understand whats going on state ur point and move on. Then I responded to a newcomer, A20 who was having a discussion before I got involved, then Ang asked me why I agreed with Lip, yeah well, that involves me in the discussion doesn't it? If people ask me to explain myself, I'm going to. If people make statements that I feel are either misinformed, inconclusive or incorrect, I might respond to them as well. It's also not true that you all read it before, newcomers come here day in day out, who fall into quite a weird collecting situation.

You just gotta accept that when you're an older member you're gonna see some discussions being repeated here with newer members. You can nag about that, or you can make me not have to write this post in the first place and just ignore it. I'm not gonna take the blame for these discussions being held in the first place, I did not bring them up. But I'm going to agree with people who say things I agree with and find important, and respond to newcomers if I see them missing something. Plenty of people do, constantly, that's what a forum is, don't single me out on that, it's BS. If you ask me to be more concise, sure. (At least you ask respectfully.)

There's plenty of stuff people discuss here that I (have to) ignore everyday too, plenty of which is also repetitive for me, or for any other older member. That's how a public forum works dude. You can make a fuss about it (which will only lead to more discussion, like you get now), or tap your space bar and just scroll over it. Nobody is forcing you to read any of this.

Before we have another mishap, nothing was aimed personally at you. It was just a general statement that if the people who want to see exclusivity morally enforced then those people need to take it up with tamashii, not fellow fans, because tamashii themselves are negating it. At the state it is now fans are completely valid in wanting a ssj vegeta, or trunks, or whatever web exclusive rerelease. Tamashii validated them when they released other web exclusives and broke their own policy levelling the playing field. Why one web exclusive and not the other? There's no moral difference. And we haven't been given a technical difference. Only thing we get out of them is 'the debate is on going' and 'it remains an exception'.

Well, morality has no exceptions, that's what defines morality. So that's what that last paragraph was about, the fact that if you want moral consistency enforced, take it up with tamashii, they're the ones who void it. Fans' desire for rereleases are completely morally valid at this point.

Oh, my entire "moral" discussion was meant to express how I separate the difference between collector and investor. Nothing to do with web exclusivity. So I guess that wasn't pointed at me.

That surprises the hell out of me about Michael Myers. It may just be my personal preference but I would put him up there with Jason and Freddy.
