Is the rush on already? The damn thing was announced only weeks ago...I was gonna wait til Jan or Feb to preorder on Amazon but you guys are freaking me out with the sense of urgency.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed that the Goku mold has terrible balancing? I got my reissue SS Goku new, tight joints and all, but he is an outright pain to stand. 17, Piccolo, and Vegeta all having better center of gravity it seems.

My regular Goku should arrive this week, maybe the different hair will make all the difference?

...Why are people going crazy over Gohan already? I've noticed almost everywhere I go to. eBay is even going crazy about it with pre-orders being $50 - 60+. Isn't he going to be re-released in terms of Piccolo and Super Saiyan Goku where there will be SO MANY of him?

Thanks mate! Can't see myself picking up 16 tbh, too many other expenses. But you never know.

I have a feeling he'll be around for awhile. I'm looking forward to him quite a lot. I'm glad they're completing the Android trio. I just got to the anime where 17 and 18 activate him. I'm really hyped to get him now.

That photo of those custom clip thingys for Broly is brilliant; they should've included an extra set of hands with pegs so they can accomodate the ki blasts. And maybe like a pointing finger hand woulda been cool too

No reason to rush for Gohan. People are just excited. There will be PLENTY of them available for a good long while.

I respect Bluefin a lot but I suddenly became irritated after reading this...

I honestly have no problem with Gohan being re-issued, I'm ecstatic...but, for ****s sake, please do not say "due to popular demand." I feel that's just utterly, and horribly, misleading the consumer/fan base.

That's what I remember reading. ...It hurts, doesn't it? I would have bought an entire Bluefin box of him at that price for each figure. I'll just have to settle with the Manga Gohan and paint the belt blue for ones that I want to use in Super Saiyan 2 displays.

The Tamashii representative said that the pre-orders amazed them a lot so it may have weight to it. The hype around him is insane where I wouldn't be surprised by April he's running at a high price. Especially since his MSRP is/was already at such a high price.

What i'm worried about is when figures shoot up in price for no other reason than that the retailers want to try and mark them up for what they used to be when they were out of production.

Amazon is a reputable place, buying all my new releases there...just can't trust eBay sellers with new releases because it's like they want to scalp from day 1.

I don't understand your first comment. Can you use an example?

Yeah, I'm going to stick with Amazon for the long run. I may go to another place for a release or two, especially Super Saiyan 4 Goku, if I plan on ordering a few but other than that I'm going to stay with Amazon. I honestly don't mind the wait, just as long as I get them. I'm a Prime Member, live in IL, and don't get any shipping tax so I get it at base price.

I really like the trading idea. Cuts out that middle step to accomplish what you're going for and is an equal deal between two people.

Even the counterfeit sellers have the nerve to mark up SS Vegeta...eBay is just a circus for the most part.

btw I picked up an original scouter Vegeta complete with box for $85. Only problem is that apparently the right leg socket is messed up after a failed attempt at tightening the joint.

I'll get my custom guy to see if he can fix it, if not the worst case is that i'll swap in a datong lower half and have him shade/paint it like the original. I mainly got it for the high quality faces, the box, the original crossed arms and the high quality painted armour torso that datong completely screwed up.

Oh, yeah. Some people take advantage of the Western market demand on imported releases. Get it quicker, pay more. I honestly have no problem with that though since, if it's a character that I like and could use them in a lot of displays, I collect multiples of the same figure. If I had the money, I would have done that with Broly. Not necessarily twice the MSRP but enough where it compensates the seller and the shipping.

The Datong Super Saiyan Vegeta sellers are raising price due to the supply. It was expected but I don't think so quickly. Scouter Vegeta is going to be the same come February.
