Anime-Island are really drawing out these preorders, they keep just adding 1 or 2 things that I want to their listings. I've already got $83 in my cart just on stands and effect pieces. Today is gonna be an expensive one!

Also I know this has been asked before but does anyone have a link to Revival of F online in decent quality? Tried Google but no luck.

For real, I've just got a cart filled with effect pieces but I wanna grab a few extra Vegeta's. They're putting em up real slooooow

Told you, they are making the dbz figures the final preorders. Putting out the aura parts first was clever though, it forced us to keep watch as soon as we saw it, I know I have been

I think I will just put all of my preorders together so I save the maximum on delivery. I dont mind a bit of waiting

some thoughts on DBS

Has anyone else besides me noticed that the general "otherworldliness" of Earth has been toned down quite a bit? In early DBZ we had anthropomorphic animals running around with humans. I think there was even a cat-human hybrid as mayor of some city & it was completely normal. Flying cars. Dinosaurs coexisted with humans. Lots of other fantastical stuff.

But now, recently, haven't really been seeing any of that. Watch episode 1 of DBS (even both BoG & RoF), nothing but humans everywhere with no sign of these other intelligent creatures. What happened? Is it because Toriyama wants to keep everything more "grounded" & normal everyday life like our own? Looks like he wants to remove those specific fantasy elements from society & just keep the "weirdness" with the Z Warriors. Which is why people were in utter shock when they saw Goten & Trunks flying.

Yeah, that scene was a little odd considering people should be used to that kind of stuff considering the World Martial Arts tournament has plenty of flying and ki stuff going on. It could be that he's trying to make it more realistic and perhaps set up the Z-Fighters as becoming the true superheroes of the world and maybe even exposing Hercule for what he really is. I would love that since as much humor as Hercule brings, I'm always annoyed how the world grovels at his feet when the Z Fighters are the true heroes.

Both Vegeta and Goku are now up on Anime Island, not as cheap as usual but you still save a few dollars on each compared to other places. Weirdly they are saying Vegeta is out October, so maybe thats why Gohan has apparently been pushed back?

A word of caution though, the aura effects must have very wide boxes or something, because the shipping on that is a bit more than an actual figure is.

Heads up homies: Anime Island has the PO's for awakening goku and premium vegeta up now! I secured Goku.:yess

And they're high imo. I think the 65$ price tag on Goku is legit.

Just got my effects and extra figures preordered! I used the shipping discount since for me shipping was $24 so I saved quite a bit. Got like 3 of each of those aura effects and 1 each of the wave and thunder effects. Got my Trunks EX preordered too. I noticed the October date for Vegeta as well...strange. All I wanna know is what the hell is going on with the releases dates? Some figures pushed back, others pushed up, Goku for $65?

Those preorder date for vegeta definitely leans towards Gohan being pushed aside for Vegeta. He now has Gohans release date according to Anime Island.

Now, please Tamashii, for all thats holy, no more figures until next year after Trunks, ok? I dont think my wallet can take it

That makes sense, I'd rather have the Vegeta's earlier than headswapped Gohan.

Yeah, same date as the aura effects (which cost a fortune to send to the Uk btw), I put the yellow one and Goku in the same order. Didnt bother with the blue, wasnt worth it to have at best SSGSS Goku powering up lol.
