Yeah, that scene was a little odd considering people should be used to that kind of stuff considering the World Martial Arts tournament has plenty of flying and ki stuff going on. It could be that he's trying to make it more realistic and perhaps set up the Z-Fighters as becoming the true superheroes of the world and maybe even exposing Hercule for what he really is. I would love that since as much humor as Hercule brings, I'm always annoyed how the world grovels at his feet when the Z Fighters are the true heroes.

that's what I've been thinking too. It also adds to his style of comedy; to see general civilians reactions to all this seemingly supernatural stuff. But you're right, things like ki & flying should be common knowledge by now. Despite all of humanity's memories of Majin Buu being wiped by the Dragon Balls.

The most you're saving is at most 3 - 4 bucks. That, I can afford. Plus receiving it over a month before the general public makes it all worth it.

Nippon Yassan Vegeta is $42 and the cheapest shipping is $9. That's $51. The cheapest shipping takes 2-3 weeks essentially meaning I pay more to get it maybe 2 weeks earlier. If I went with EMS, shipping is $14, making the total $56 but with guaranteed shipping of roughly a week after releases

Anime Island is $37 shipped. Simple math my friend.

And they're high imo. I think the 65$ price tag on Goku is legit.

That's a whole other figure right there. Maybe YOU can afford to spend an extra $34 but a majority of us want to get them for as cheap as possible. $34 is A LOT of savings. Wow, you got the figure earlier, but you spent more for it. I can't afford that luxury and imo saving money is the more efficient way to buy figures, it's just obvious.

Just realized poor #16 is still instock on anime island. That doesnt bode well for larger figures imo. Sure, Broly sold out, but #16 is probably about as popular as Nappa tbh.

I just edited my post to reflect that. It's up to you man, I personally would rather save upwards of $10-15 and get it later. Especially since I tend to purchase multiple figures, that adds up to a lot of saving buying domestically. To each their own, if you got the extra money to spend, by all means.
