unless that spikey-haired dude on the bottom is a saiyan then we were lied to. or it was just a mistranslation. or Champa still has a few more tricks up his sleeve, cuz them other dudes definitely don't look like Saiyans to me

The Tarble looking guy/girl is most likely the Saiyan he was referring to. The plural was most likely a mistranslation or perhaps some other Saiyan might step in and take someone's place.

I'm most curious as to how that Winnie the Pooh guy is gonna be. Will he slather our heroes in honey? Find out on the next Dragon Ball Super!

Would it be fair to say Toriyama is to Dragon Ball as George Lucas is to Star Wars? Would the franchise be a lot better off in more capable hands? When dude is peddling stuff like this to us & saying "this guy is stronger than goku lol"...



...then it's comparable to when Lucas said "Jar Jar is the key to all of this" when making Episode I. Toriyama clearly lost his edge & his work is starting to reflect that. It's still early, I could be wrong, but from here on out I'm keeping my expectations pretty low so I won't be disappointed as much

Most definitely. He's making Super into a bad fanfic. The comedy is watering everything down, older characters are being ruined, and everything's overall weaker than the original material. George Lukas indeed, although I did enjoy the prequels which is more than I can say for Super as of now. It did add backstory and expanded on the lore but that's a discussion for another day/thread.
