If they can redo GT without Child Goku, make Pan a better character, and focus less on Goku (Replace him with Goten, that'd be interesting)then it could be better

I just wanted that mystery character to look formidable*, but in typical Toriyama fashion he gotta make em cute & awkward-looking. I'm tellin ya he's gonna portray him as "he has so much ki so he doesn't need muscles, and he's going to KO his opponents by just tapping them on the forehead." Even that Saiyan (we think he's a Saiyan) on Champa's team is a shrimp.

I guess since Toriyama has been drawing muscle-bound powerhouses for so long, he wants to do the exact opposite now?

*apparently he's going to be, but I wanted the character design to reflect that, which in turn means an awesome-looking Figuarts sculpt for us to buy

How much ya wanna bet Tamashii already has prototypes of Champa's team & that nipple guy fully painted & ready to go
Yet still won't show off protos for Majin Vegeta & Kid Boo

I wouldn't be surprised if Tamashii began the process. Super began airing in July, along with an extra couple/few months before that for the character designs going public, and Tamashii already had prototypes of Champa and Vados out by October.

I heard that there was a Toy Fair in Hong Kong this weekend. I'm not sure what type of presence Tamashii will have, if any at all, but it would be interesting to see what they'll have displayed.

Toriyama has always gone for cute and often misleading character designs at first. Foes like Janemba and Buu started out looking like fat blubbery man children and ended up with way more formidable and bad-ass designs (Janemba especially, canon or not).

So for now it's too early to jump to conclusions about the mystery guy. If his nipples fire lasers then he'll be an instant legend.

He could've easily just made the God form have the same musculature but no he had to actually rip the precious muscle off of his body. I've grown fond of the form but that will forever be a bad move. The SSGSS is redeeming in that regard and at least retains the badassery of a transformation.

All I'm really hoping for is that this nipple guy transforms. If he stays as is and has some ridiculous power, I would be so pissed. He's not even cute, he's just straight fugly in every sense of the word.

Yeah, he could just of stayed the same as his normal form. All the levels of SS, SS2 and SS3 are supposed to have bigger muscles... but in the end they all are drawn the same.
