It's getting a US release, so I'm just gonna wait to buy it when it goes on sale on Amazon; or next Black Friday maybe.

some of these look really nice! But man I just cant wrap my head around that price tag for Hulkbuster.. these 1/12 figures were already too expensive to begin with!

I would bet on this getting a good discount in the future. Comicave put up for "preorder" some cheaper priced figures and re-releases that seems like they're just pumping out more to make some cash. Like on BBTS you can order some like Shotgun for $50 I think. I would think this might follow the same path in the future and get cheaper.

Honestly, I think they'll be hard pressed to get enough orders to actually produce him at this price. I could be wrong though of course, there are a lot of people with long dollars out there lol

I can't believe how quickly SHF Thanos has sold out.

The skin tone and face sculpt didn't look much like Brolin, but more like an unused concept version. The gold was also too bright on both the chest armor and the Gauntlet.

Yet everyone and their grandma rushed to buy it.

It's a decent figure, but not that good of a IW representation.

Anyone have pics of Ant Man next to some Hot Toys? I'm very much considering picking up Ant Man and the Wasp in leiu of the HT ones as scale doesn't really apply to them.

Works as the half size Ant-Man

Its a nice figure but not a fan of the shade of red they ended up with, its more faded than the red in the film

Next to the Legends figure (ignore the helmet on that one, I'm altering it so its in pieces at the moment)

Thanks for the look! Man I dunno. I have the Legends ones MIB still, and I just feel like if they're going in with HTs on the shelf, then the Figuarts are more professional looking. He looks good though, but I almost feel like the size is too big for what I'd want to achieve either way.

I guess I'm just trying really hard to talk myself out of the HT set lmao!

I'm currious, what is your alteration? Are you adding eyes and lenses?

Yeah I'm putting the headsculpt in behind the faceplate. The Wasp Legends figure has eyes and a lens so I wanted to change this one to match

Cool. I'd like to see it when you're done. It's funny, I was thinking of removing the eyes from the Wasp helmet so she can hold it, as the unhelmeted head looks so good.

I think the first Legends being a BAF and looking pretty garbage too forced a lot of people to SHF.

Yeah, I have the SHF Thanos and he definitely looks worse and worse the more I look at him. He’s still a good figure, and I don’t plan on parting with him. I think the real transparent gems in the gauntlet are amazing; he has very nice articulation too.

The 10th Anniversary ML Thanos from the Doctor Strange pack is definitely the definitive IW Thanos for now in terms of “look”. I’d love to see Bandai try their hand at his armored suit though - maybe for IW 2?

I’m genuinely surprised MAFEX hasn’t tried making Thanos, considering how there’s definitely demand for the character. I think they’d make an interesting version - especially since the movie has been released and there’s a lot more “final” reference material for him now.

I think they will. Only recently did they make an MCU figure that isn't Spider-Man or Iron Man.

It'd be great to see them go all out like they did for their DC movie lines.

Huh. I don't think mine came with any effects? Which is strange since I ordered from an American retailer.
