Yeah, I have the SHF Thanos and he definitely looks worse and worse the more I look at him. He’s still a good figure, and I don’t plan on parting with him. I think the real transparent gems in the gauntlet are amazing; he has very nice articulation too.

The 10th Anniversary ML Thanos from the Doctor Strange pack is definitely the definitive IW Thanos for now in terms of “look”. I’d love to see Bandai try their hand at his armored suit though - maybe for IW 2?

I’m genuinely surprised MAFEX hasn’t tried making Thanos, considering how there’s definitely demand for the character. I think they’d make an interesting version - especially since the movie has been released and there’s a lot more “final” reference material for him now.

I've had it for over a month already and it looks better than both the SHF and ML ones (that being said, the ML one looks really good).

I mean - the headsculpt alone is amazing. And the whole statue costs £40. Amazing value for money!

Oh yeah, that one is awesome! Looks like a scan of the actual movie model almost. I’d totally get him if I collected statues.

Had Diamond made an action figure of Thanos from IW I’m sure it would be #1 - their “massive” character figures are their best imo. I want to see them make armored Thanos from IW2, if he wears it again.

I just reeeaaally want a figure of Brolin Thanos with his full armor from IW.

I think he will wear the armor in Endgame.

In IW, it made sense him not wearing the armour as the Russos said that since he possessed the Gauntlet and the Stones, going around unprotected had a symbolic meaning to him.

But now that the Gauntlet is messed up and he realises our heroes are coming for him, he might wear it to feel more cautious and protected.

Finally got in IW Hulk, and I gotta say in person he looks a lot better!
I didn't think I would like his headsculpt, but very happy how it turned out.

I do have IW Thor on preorder, but if I had known they are planning to re-do Avengers Thor, I would have waited for that since I like that Thor costume better - And it will be an improvement on this version of Thor. It would be sweet if they added a helmeted Thor like in the first movie, but I know that probably isn't going to happen.

Just weird how marketing works, they could just make one generic Hulk. I understand the Ragnarok Hulk figure, but to have the IW Hulk, then the Av1 Hulk seems like overkill, especially since it would be nice to see other characters like Vision, Drax, Gamora or even the Black Order.

Despite some inaccuracies the quality still sets the figure apart. I only have like a few MCU legends and with all these reveals hopefully I can replace them at some point.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The SHF has its issues, but the Legends one looks horrible to me. Looks like some big fat purple dude that would get beat up for his lunch money. I have several Legends “stand ins” since SHF has yet to make a lot of characters, but the quality of them just can’t hold a candle to even the worst SHF. I also get that the armored look is cool, but he spent like 5 minutes of the movie in armor, so it only makes sense that the figure is the non-armored version.

The ML has a bit more texture/detail in the costume but that’s the only real advantage in my opinion. Like you said, the shape of the ML is horrendous. The proportions and articulation on the Figuarts are much better, and I think the headsculpts are better too. The ML might get the advantage with the teeth gritted head but the neutral and smiling head on the Figuarts are 100% IW Thanos. At the end of the day it’s up to you, but I would definitely go with the Figuarts.

I don't think I've ever seen a single leak/factory/early or whatever for a Bandai product ever before, so that's pretty interesting on top of the figure itself. The face sculpt on the body looks a little odd.
