So I was finally able to get everything currently available on preorder so that's good! Now to wish for what may come....here is what I'd like to see Tamashii Nations develop with future releases...

A New Hope:
- Ben Kenobi
- Chewbacca
- Princess Leia with interrogator droid
- Revamped Darth Vader in his original armor - when he was more of a general instead of a dignitary
as he appeared in ROTJ.
- Sandtrooper with partial escape pod diorama
- Dewback (why not?)
- Cantina creatures such as Greedo and Hammerhead
- Death Star Commander

Empire:
- Luke/Han Hoth
- Tauntaun
- Wampa
- Dagobah/Bespin Luke
- Yoda
- LANDO!!!!!!
- Lobot
- Boba Fett (and the rest of the bounty hunters....could you imagine?) with Han Carbonite

Your lists would make for an epic range... though from Empire for me I would want a Vader and Luke Bespin duel.

When it comes to the Prequels add a ROTS Obi-Wan to face off against Anakin as long as some Battle Droid colour variations (as you would have the yellow/red/blue ones along with the reddish Geonosis ones) as well as the same with the ROTS/Clone Wars Troopers.

I'm hoping the droids come in a reasonably priced two pack as I don't think R2 should be a standalone figure. Same with Yoda. I'm hoping for a Yoda and Mace Windu combo pack.

Mace would be a cool figure to own... hes one of the Hasbro ones I think I didn't end up with back when Episode II came out, I would also like a Jango Fett which if it only came with the one thruster pack would be the Geonosis one unless they throw both in and have them removable.

Got Obi too after missing him yesterday! First ever order at amiami, I'll take the customs hit, shouldn't be too harsh.

As much as I love Kylo's design though, I'm not gonna order a character I don't know yet. I'm pretty sure if he's a hit Kylo will get reissued anyway... I'm happy with just Jedi Luke and Obi for now.



Yeah kinda? When it comes to main characters, I'd say yeah. I'm mostly experienced with their Dragonball z line and there they reuse moulds a lot regarding the main character and releasing tweaked versions. They definitely take advantage of the moulds they make as an investment. I know from the Gundam line they also tend to make many variants. The thing is, it has to be a main character or a big fan favourite.

But maybe more experienced SHF collectors would see it differently in comparison to other lines? But if we're talking main characters, I'd say yeah they're pretty inclined to release variants to take advantage of existing moulds yet offer them up as new releases.



@Orbital can we expect some awesome sw figuarts art here?

If you follow their kamen rider lines, you'll know that they are always re tooling the main characters with new improved figures every now and then. Even on the newer figures which I think looks perfect. That's why i think vader would get a retooling soon. DBZ line is a different beast though, as people continue buying that beat up Goku mold

Hefty list man. Remember loving the droidekas as kid. Wouldn't put stock into seeing many of those minor supporting characters. Tamashii goes wild now because the highly ride hype-waves, but if the new movies do well, they.l take up lot of slots. And if they don't they might cut back somewhat.
And yeah, same. SHF is king unless you venture into 1/6 scale.

I've never before seen a name tag that had the & symbol and to names, I think they will be a two-pack. Nametags are good clues to go on with tamashii.

I'd like Mace versus Sidious as a setup. 'Unlimited power' is so glorious. Qui, mace and sidious are my only pt wants unless there's a great Rex somewhere to be found, then I'd like anakin. It's amazing how the whole pt is anakins story yet solely the clone wars series makes him appealing to me as a protagonist. Sidious and Obiwan overshadowed him so much in iconography.

True, no customer incentive to change it. Though awakening goku is my figure of the year man, that new leg articulations seems fabtastic and tht mould!

Same here with me. I could only get into the tail end of the show, skipping to the darker episodes, and it made Anakin not only my favorite Star Wars character, but top favorite fictional characters in general. I went out and read the "Lords of the Sith" novel because I needed more! I really wish that show would have continued because I loved how they developed him.

I want an Anakin more than anything!
