I've read two articles today that are classifying this movie as a 'success'. Is it wrong for me to be skeptical of sequel? I'm honestly surprised that people consider this a success in terms of box-office performance. I just don't see this making back the money it needs to green-light a sequel. Obviously, I want it too, but I don't want to get my hopes up either.

Every other movie I saw in March (Logan, Get Out, Kong, Beauty and the Beast) left way more of a lasting effect. I have pretty much stopped thinking about this novie.

I was intrigued by that opening scene though. I'd like to see a sequel to for Tommy Oliver.

I also made the mistake of watching Moana for the first time right before going to watch Power Rangers. I think I came out of the theater still thinking about Moana lol
