Speaking of the black ranger, these guys are making fun of the new black ranger :lol (11:00)

I saw that :lol

Everything they said was on point. When that kid is screaming while jumping all I could do is shake my head. This is probably going to be another one of these movies where the jokes feel out of place, because of the depressing tone.

I'm prepared for that Logan trailer to drop.

Ah man, I can't wait to hear it :lol

After watching some of the Youtube videos, I'm amazed to what extent people pick about trailers like this....especially when some of the clips probably won't even make the final cut.

Aren't we all way too old to be watching the Power Rangers? Lol I mean I loved it as a 10 year old, but by the time I was 13 it was so un cool to still be watching it. I get the nostalgia of it, I really do, but when you watch the show now, it's just so bad. I'm into martial arts, so it was always power rangers and tmnt when I was a kid. Now I can still watch tmnt today, but PR is just awful.

I just can't help but think this is going to be such a lame film for anyone older than 10.

"we" are too old "too" be watching superheros period.... if you think about it.
transformers? spiderman? it is all technically kids stuff, your point is silly. you might as well not watch anything from marvel then

Never really got into this Power Rangers stuff. Same for Pokemon series. But Psyducks looks interesting as a character, hehe.

G.I joe, transformers, hell, even maleficent, beauty and the beast, zootopia, jungle book, ALL KlD S--

They're cool for youngsters or some with the heavy nostalgia but no matter how much remake they do, the interest just not as appealing. Even some super heroes....
Maybe Mr. Green got old but at least he won't be heavy on these movies, like some folks, lol.

There's kids stuff and there's childish stuff. Maybe this new Power Rangers film will make it more relevant to this time, like the Marvel and DC films have for comic characters, but the 90's PR show is just so lame to watch as an adult.

Maybe just us females think it's lame lol

its pretty clear they are not touching the silly parts of power rangers. besides you keep mentioning the 90s power rangers but the franchise has been going on in america for almost 20 years.
this movie is rebooting from the first show but the franchise definitely has built a legacy. there is no denying that. if it didnt have such a huge following it would have never gone this far.
i understand why you would hate the original power rangers show but if anything this teaser was created specially for people like you who never cared for PR before or people that thought it was silly.

I never hated the show, I loved it as a kid and watched up to Power Rangers Galaxy. But like many shows I watched and loved as a kid (Full House, Family Matters) they are horrible to rewatch as a grown up. I watched 2 episodes of that Fuller House and it was atrocious, but it was done in the same style in which I loved when I was a kid. So if this PR film is like the show, I wouldn't be interested, however if it is written for an older audience, for the adults that watched these characters 20 years ago, it wouldn't be so bad.

I think I'm just past watching teenager stories, I find it hard to relate to those types of shows and films anymore.

Well most of us are in our 20s-40s still collecting toys so...

Those 2 are childish crap.

I prefer Star Wars, Star Wars is for grownups.

:lol

Saw 11 episodes of the MMPR, first time since 90s.
It's odd but I had a lot of fun watchin' the non-action parts while ff throught half the action.
Now I remember why I loved this show as a kid!

You speak truth.

I will say that when I watch a nostalgic show with my analytic, logical portion of cognition, I find I just don't enjoy anything as much. I thought to myself "what's the point of looking for errors or believability." It just makes me dislike things I used to appreciate. As for the nostalgia, that's what made it good in the first place as a kid. It gave us wonder and excitement. So I usually watch shows (that are terrible by today's standards) with an open mind and try to regress myself to the point where I don't care about logical/pragmatic things. Rather, I enjoy the show for what it is and what it represented in my life back then.

Yup, shut down the new brain and use your old you.

I do watch all my older stuff thru my nostalgia lense, like where was I in my life when I first watched said program or movie.

How did I learn about it, where was I, what was the experience like.

It allows me to judge the product from back then and not now while also appreciating the road I have traveled since then.

There is a place in my brain for old and new.
