Ageed, that's a big statue. I have some really large pieces coming. Sauron, Galactus, Medusa Rattle, Conan vs Ape dio... Now I just have to build me some custom display cases.

Superman PF EX. I hate the EX but it was one of those moments where you know it's going to sell out so you may as well get the EX anyway for the cash value incase you ever have to sell. Plus there's a slim chance they may change it due to the hate it's been getting (whats wrong with just red eye's??!!!)

I also have the PCS Sagat coming from Popcultcha this week. Snagged it at $360 free shipping which is probably my best deal in collecting for a long time considering Sagat will probably be a grail among SF fans.

I would say you are pretty safe waiting to order, but once this gets close to release or shortly after it may go fast. I would say flex and think later, but that $180 NRD is rough.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked. I'm so used to a 10% NRD, and on Sauron, they want 20%. I can deal with cancelling a piece and losing $35, but I cannot deal with losing $180.

Honestly, I think the one thing at the moment holding me back from pushing the pre-order button, is the lava paint effect.

I'm worried about it, and I can forsee that being the only thing that could ruin this piece for me.

IMHO...at this price point I can't see this one selling out prior to initial orders being shipped. That $180 NRD is also going to chase some folks away from pre-ordering.

I think there will be time to see some in hand pics prior to pulling the trigger.

The NRD was a chunk but I truly feel its going to come out looking superb. Plus the $180 reduces the amount of each payment.
