I guess it all depends on you're financial situation. For me it was easier to flex just because of my spending habits. If you have the funds sitting in a bank and have the discipline not to spend I'd be tempted to wait for in hand pics.

I'm fairly confident this will be available on release and a few months after. 1500 is quite high even for a grail/focal piece.

I'd say there would be a fair few people just waiting on pulling the trigger once the in hand hits. Especially all the people who got on the DR.

I did the 3 payments but only because it was the only one available. You could always go for something higher then contact SS if you want to pay it off quicker. They let you do that.

It's good for customers that they allowed the longer payment number option again. I've never understood why they lower it on/closer to release. They would have more people jump on if the payments remained lower until the statue was sold out.

I've stopped trying to figure out how SS operate though...

Only problem I see with that is not having it in hand when it is released and everyone is showing off theirs and you are needing to wait at least an extra month(unless it gets delayed, which is very possible).

My thoughts too. As long as they get enough in stock, they do let you pay early. So, I'm hoping if I do the 3-month option, they get their whole shipment in, because it drives me a little crazy when everyone is getting their amazing statue and I'm sitting here waiting and wanting it.

I can see why people want to wait for in-hand pics,but I get FAR too nervous waiting to order...for me it kind of feels like tempting fate.I mean,1500 is a fairly big ES but these things can fly out really fast(just like the DR did a few weeks back-and that also had a large price tag),as soon as SS put the longer FP plan back on their site,I jumped on it

I know I'm gonna take a bit of heat for this,but I really hope he DOES get delayed,'cos it will kill me if he comes out in the next few months and I have to be tortured by all the pics you guys will surely be posting!!

You guys have very good points. The more I think about it, the more it might be smarter to do the long Flex option to ensure (financially) I don't bite off more than I can chew. Then I can also ensure I will get him at some point, but without the unnecessary pressure of either a sudden waitlist/sold out, or the added pressure of having a $240.00 Flex payment in front of me.

Why the hurry to sell your Talon if you weren't ready to get Sauron? Only reason I ask is because the Darth Talon is only climbing in value. You could have asked way more and waited for someone to bite scoring you more money if you were going to wait.

For me flexing an item goes by the wife much better than a one time payment.
