Big congrats Fremen! I know you are a big statue collectors & you have many LOTR pieces in your collection, how do you rank this in your LOTR collection & in this year statues in general. Mine coming Monday or tuesday, cant wait :)

One of my favorites for sure. Trying to figure out if I like this one or DROM more. I love the base on this one. I'd say this is in my top 3 favorite statues.

That almost looks like the paint flaked off. Oh man, they better have primed this thing before they painted it.

I also found this in the box but can't for the life of me figure out where it came from. Any ideas?

Gotta say, even though I'm a bit upset I have yet another statue with QC issues, Sauron is fricken incredible!! Worth every penny. I better get a replacement body or I'll be choked!

I'm unboxing mine now and I just found the same piece- it doesn't look like it's broken to anything and the odds of us both having the same broken piece is slim...

Hmm yea I guess the odds of that are really slim. I honestly analyzed every section of the statue and didn't see where it potentially could have broken off. I sent it off to Sideshow along with the flaked chest just in case.

Size reference for anyone that was wondering... Definately towers over the Berserker PF

From all the pictures I've seen and the comments I've read, I feel like this statue is best under low lighting. When it's in a well lit area, the orange effect seems to come off rather poorly. I'll have to see some video reviews on this guy.

I'd imagine that's more to do with our friends poor photography skills than the statue although I'll have to wait and see with my own eyes. Most of these photo's are either under or over exposed due to the guys obviously wanting to take a few quick snaps for the site.

I've seen it happen on so many pieces in so many threads now that it's just the norm. Stingray has a couple of good shots though.

Outside in daylight in a shaded area or in a bright natural sun lit back room is where you'll get the best shots and never ever use a flash unless you know how to disperse the light. (if anyones interested :lol Photography is my other hobby :))

I will say though the armour does have a slight "plasticky" look to it even with the bad lighting.

Went and picked mine up this morning from fedex, cant see anything wrong with him, this PF is awesome! No. 365
