Just received my Vanderstelt Sauron canvas today and it is exceptional. If you are buying the Sideshow Sauron statue can I recommend getting the canvas especially at the price its on sale for

Here is some, more on the way. I did get some damage, you can see on the base the helm at the left has a faceguard piece broken off.

My rib is exactly the same I think it's for everybody. I leaving now will reinspect base later. Looks good to me so far. More silvery than I thought but beautiful

I took one pic of the packing, but when I saw that damage to the base I forgot to take another one of the other side of the foam, I was damage checking at that point. If someone else does not post one, I will do one when I repack it. I am not sure what sideshow will do about the damage so I will have to wait and see. I wish the broken piece was still on the box as I would just glue it, but it was nowhere to be found.

I also had to modify the peg hole, there was too much material in there and I had to dig some out to make him sit flat.

I opened mine here at work and wowwwwww, I am in love! No damage on mine that I can see. I'll inspect better when I take him home.

Yea, hopefully you don't find any. My damage is small, but it is attached to the base and I don't know if I can remove it and replace or the whole base need to be scrapped.
