So this piece would look amazing on a pedestal like this placed all by itself so that nothing distracted from it. Awesome lighting as well. One thing that would be fun to play with is filling in the base of the cabinet with some rubble or something around the base to make it more of a complete scene. Can't think of what I'd use but that would be very cool.

Could be as simple as just the base being black, or rocks made from plaster or you could go blackened ground with cracks exposing lava

Faaaaaarrrrrrkkkkk :horror

I can't wait to have this!

In November:(

I have my ups set up to send me texts and let me know when things ship and are due to arrive. Well it just woke me up and scared the crap out of me, but I won't mind since its my Sauron which wil be here tomorrow. :)

I don't think things would work out for Gandalf if he faced Sauron in all his glory.

Gandalf in all his own glory is probably nears the power of Sauron. Gandalf does have a ring of power and is just as ancient as Sauron and off the same race. Gandalf's purpose was never so much to oppose evil himself, but rather to encourage the people of middle earth to defend themselves and specifically help bring the age of men, which required helping men defeat Sauron themselves. I think...

Legendary vs PF is a different ball game . That's like comparing cinemaquette to PF ...big difference if Sauron was LSF the price woulda been lots more too. I bet they charge you more for the box/packing. I was surprised at how cheap the Death piece was compared to the other LSF pieces

That makes sense. I'm not brushed up on the History of Middle-Earth. I do know Gandalf was pretty powerful in his own right.

So does that mean a Balrog is more powerful than Sauron?

Thing is while Gandalf had a ring of power he couldn't have used it if Sauron was wearing The One Ring. That Ring had power over all other Rings in Middle-earth. So I'm not sure Gandalf was quite as powerful as Sauron. As far as Balrogs being more powerful I don't believe hey were. They were lesser servants of Morgoth than Sauron was.
