I did to now WB sold sideshow stuff for LOTR directly. I wonder if I get an employee discount on it... A healthy 10-15% off might make this doable.

Lol. I work in TV, so I work at WB (and other lots) often, tho I am technically an employee of the shows on a contract, not a direct WB employee. If they offered an employee discount on this, I could swing getting it, I'm sure.

Well there is McKellen's Gandalf #1 bronze and I was told certain of the Howe pieces have APs going to those close to the film. Besides I am sure this stuff is rather drab to the Hollywood set.

Some things to keep in mind about this. WBShop charges sales tax in many states, not just California like Sideshow. Also, the free shipping is off their standard shipping rate which is normally only $5 for anything over $75 so you're really only saving $5 on the shipping from a normal order. So the $50 you save on the statue will probably end up costing you more in tax. But overall with, the $50 off the price of the statue plus free shipping you'll still probably save a few bucks on the overall transaction.

I placed my order since May (deposit) through the courier. He said he got a contact in CA and the item will be there first because shipping to me, so the case that I'm living outside US is not a problem.
Not saying it smells fishy for this bad boy is still has PO status... just wanna ask. Does it take this long for you guys? I mean... not even billing for someone who PO'd months ago? Really?
