You can either deal with that or you can't. I don't care either way. I love how a couple of you are good at making petty comments or name calling while you try to act "above" others. My comment still stands about painting armor one shade of silver. if you can't see that, well, that is something else. I showed you a pic of what nice painted armor looks like. If you can't admit that, yes, the paint job can be improved upon then I do assume another motive behind all of this. And we aren't even talking about the glow effect. That I assume is more taste. But in your world the forum would look like this

Putting on a face means what you're saying isn't how you actually feel. I never do that. I am 100% honest. I thought again I made that clear.

I'm extremely happy with the paint job on mine.

However I do wish ss would take into account the difficulty of pulling off the master painters original.

I think adolfos repaint is the way it should have been done.

I'm just so happy ss gave us something so special at an incredible price.

The paint isn't so bad that it takes anything away from the statue. I think it actually makes it more interesting..

Honestly Adolfo, thats exactly that, "your vision" and what you think. Its not what the artist intended the statue to be. Its like another artist coming in and saying, "oh, the Mona Lisa could look better, let me just make a few tweaks and adjustments and so and so, and woolah!! Looks so much better". Or a better example, like you changing JV's Saurons painting to your liking. It's not original.

I give high applause for the originality of the fantastic artistic scope they were wanting to relay to the collectors with the lava effect. Its another dimension of art, collectors such as myself, can appreciate and it adds extra depth to the piece. I do think you ruined your piece though. But if youre happy with it, thats all that matters.

JV must have ruined his Sauron too just like you said. We are talking about a copy here no original works of art apples and oranges don't even go there. His painting is perfect. If this statue represents the JV painting then display it like the JV painting. The spike down must be original too. So I fixed it just Like it was shown in the film. Is that ruining it too? I guess for you any repaint from anyone must be bad because it's taking away what the statue company intended from your above statement

What are you babbling on about here? Did you even read your post before you posted it?

I love this statue and I think it's awesome. I've been honest and upfront about it from the start how I felt about the Sauron PF. If I didn't really love this statue and was saying I loved it THEN I'd be putting on a face. I don't think you know what putting on a face or putting up a front means.

Still waiting on them to come into the local store. Still sorta of worried about spending 900 with the paint, so need to see.

On the other hand, I have been thinking of buying the piece regardless of paint. As of late I have been touching up other statues I have been obtaining that might need it and contemplating repainting him. Might not be soon, but eventually. Or getting the print to go behind it.

You guys think there will be enough Sauron piece coming out anytime being sculpted bigger or better?
