Nice, glad I could help. Was there tax on that amount too or is MN one of the states WBshop does not tax?

No, no tax, just $775 shipped out the door. I had roughly $435 in PP credit I was gonna use on 1/6 but this was a too good of a deal to pass up so it only end up costing $340 out of pocket. It was either now or never

Nice. I agree with you location too.

I live in MN, and I'm pretty sure we don't get taxed. I don't get taxed from Sideshow and other California places.

I don't from them either, but WBshop does. Some states have agreements with larger businesses to collect tax even of they do business in the state, not just based or have location there.

Ok, I've never ordered from WBshop.com so I don't know for sure. I guess that's something I'll have to pay attention to more often.

Indeed. You born here or a transplant?

No not from here. Grew up in SoCal and lived in Arizona for 7 years thereafter. Lived here for about a year. Only moved here because the Mrs got a big enough promotion at work that enticed us to move out here so... : /

What about you? You from here?

Don't forget that WB Shop is often on coupon sites like mrrebates.com. I have been using them for a few years, works great though some lag to get the money into your paypal account. No spam that I can tell. Saves maybe 3-5% in addition.

Edit: just checked, 4% for WBSHop and this disclaimer "Cash Back will be negated by WBShop on high volume customers or reseller purchases per WB's full discretion." Interesting that Lego is cracking down hard on resellers as well. I can't get why Lego in particular is so bent on driving away so much business (they killed the other half with their decision to keep products stocked way too long).

Yeah, and I can't wait to leave sometimes. I really want to move to SoCal.

That would require for many a real raise...$$$

Oh yeah, I've heard. I'm been slowly thinking about it for a few years. I'll probably look for someone who needs roommates.

My friend that I went to grade school with moved out there to be an actor and he's been in a few TV shows. He lived with 4 other dudes.
