After getting this guy in hand, pics in general do not seem to do him justice.
Assume since most that post images of him (including myself) are not professional photographers, it is hard for the "average" person make him "shine".

It is very hard to get good shots of him, too much light to show details and you wash him out and ruin the effect. Too low for dramatic effect and you can't see anything.
I should redo my shots. I rushed them as I was the 1st to post pics of him and everyone was begging for quick pics so they did not turn out that good. Part of the problem though was how poor the base paint was on my first, the replacement made it shine. I have had him packed up waiting to build or buy his new display which is why I did not redo the original pics.

Stop nagging each other guys. What's important is that everyone like is statue. I'm pretty sure that my paint would be great by default and of course I would kill to have it paint by a pro like Jerry.
Alright gents that's enough. As I've said before there are plenty of people who like and don't like the original paint job. I think we've seen plenty of pictures of folks who have taken it in natural light that show the factory paint job and the pics of the repaints look just fine. No point in arguing over epitaph04 since its B&W either.

I think they will have a few left..
If Sauron is close to gone, that says a lot for this piece. Especially with a quantity of 1500 @ $900 a pop. I've still got two more flex-pays before I can appreciate this one myself.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. It's funny how the DROM Reg Ed had a low quantity alert in the Newsletter like six months ago and nothing since.

Yea, DROM was low in THREE newsletters, non consecutive, but the actual page never said low that I am aware. If the Sauron page says it, it may mean about to sell out or they are just low "in stock" until more arrive. Until it goes to WL then we won't know for sure.
