Half of the ones you see for sale are broken in some way, although there are 8000 more of them too so maybe all you see are people unloading broken ones.

Anyone else think the Weta and sideshow Lord of the rings pieces look good with old cobwebs on them? I do, Maybe I need to clean them more but it does give them a nice aged look though.

Meh. Maybe I'll just steer clear of Sauron.
Shame, though. I wish Weta would start doing 1/4 scale pieces. They'd probably be pretty darn expensive, but it seems like all-in-all, their QC is way better. And I love how nice and heavy their pieces are. They just....seem nicer overall. Sideshow is too hit and miss lately.
I don't know anyone that thinks anything looks good with cobwebs on it.

I keep seeing this guy every time I go to the local shops. Is it weird that I have this piece as one of my long term goals? Lol. People want cars, and stuff, I just want this. I expect to get this thing by the time I'm 25.
I can't think of one reason to comply with common interests.

I should probably re-read all the posts here and look up problems this guy is having. Only see paint job problems?
1/4 scale. The only problems that occurred were some people had broken parts of the base, a skeleton or skull. Others didn't like the paint, but that was mostly preference as opposed to problems.
Yes. Considering he has already seen the statue in person a bad suprise can't happen anymore. One either likes it or not.
